All-Season Vacation Getaway with Stunning Views!

Enjoy the panoramic views of Glacier National Park from this beautiful lodging. Large picture windows face the west where the Rocky Mountains fill the horizon. Watch for moose, elk, deer, and Canadian Geese who frequent the land around the property. Summit is an upstairs condo with three bedrooms and two bathrooms that easily sleeps 6-8 guests.
The Lone Elk Lodge is the perfect place to relax. The living room has comfortable seating for up to eight guests, and is set up for an evening of entertainment or to just relax after a busy day. Along with the incredible views from the large picture windows, there is a fireplace that provides a warm glow for romantic evenings after the sun has set and the stars come out. The lodge is equipped with HDTV, DVD, stereo, satellite, and a library of movies, music, books and games for your entertainment.
The dining area, kitchen, and living room share a beautiful open area with plenty of sunshine and mountain views.
The kitchen is fully appointed with granite countertops, brand-new appliances, and all the tools needed to whip up the perfect meal. The cabinets are handcrafted by Carl, who has been designing and selling his woodworking for over thirty years.

There is a private deck which is furnished with a gas grill and plenty of outdoor seating, and provides a great gathering area for barbecues and watching incredible sunsets. The backyard offers lots of room for setting up a badminton game or volleyball.

Plenty of hiking and fishing can be found right out the back door. In the winter, there are cross-country trails that can be accessed from our property. The Two Medicine entrance to Glacier Park is only a twenty-minute drive away, which boasts one of the most scenic lakes in the park. There are boat concessions, miles of hiking trails, and a historical camp store that is well stocked with park information, gear, and gifts. The town of East Glacier Park is three miles away and offers grocery stores, fine restaurants, gift shops, and a post office.

Great property with great views. Enough grocery stores and restaurants within 10 minutes. Host was fantastic. Room was great. Hiking trail on property was nice. Convenient to Many Glacier and East side of Glacier which is much less busy than west side.

Very comfortable, clean, well stocked with everything we could have possibly needed. Morning alpenglow on the mountains is stunning while enjoying coffee in the kitchen. Location is ideal for exploring Glacier National Park, particularly the East side. We would definitely, happily stay here again.

We had a marvelous time at the property with our family of 5 adults. The beds were SO comfortable! The living room had lots of books on GNP, hikes, and restaurants - all of which we used and appreciated! We hiked on the property which was beautiful! The bear spray and cooler that were provided was an appreciated extra.

Lovely Condo
We had an amazing time at this beautiful East Glacier condo. The condo was very clean, with an awesome view. It was a little bit far from a well-stocked grocery store but we were prepared for that. Wish we could have stayed longer. Maybe another time!

The view and accommodations were fantastic at this newly decorated 3 bedroom place. We saw the lone elk and deer on the hillside from the living area. It was a great location to travel to the park daily. We would definitely like to stay hear again.

Beautiful scenery, clean, comfortable. Leslie and Carl went above and beyond. Their place is homey and welcoming, everything you need is there and if not, just ask! Such wonderful hosts. They even let us tag along on their daily hike. Highly recommend

Gorgeous
Absolutely gorgeous setting, and very nice space. I stayed in summit with 4 other adults and we felt very comfortable. Leslie and Carl left us bear spray and chatted with us about the property and were very welcoming. We loved Glacier Park Lodge, which was only five minutes away, and eating at Serrano's, also very close. Couldn't have been better!

Quiet and clean near East Glacier
Five family members stayed here as we visited the east side of Glacier National Park. Communication and check in /directions were easy and accurate. The home was clean and efficient. Close to Two Medicine, but an hour drive to Many Glacier area. We visited a wonderful Native American Museum in Browning. This would be a great place to stay with 3 or 4 different groups renting each condo.

A must house to rent!!!
Overall one of the most complete, comfortable places we have ever rented. Start with this; all the beds were very comfortable. No old, worn out mattresses which is so important in a vacation. Kitchen was FULLY stocked, even fresh scones upon arrival. Grounds were so beautiful with all the flowers and numerous outdoor seating areas. The views were to die for and the hosts very accommodating and helpful before and during our stay. If we come back we are staying here!!!!

Loved this property!
We had a great time at the Summit! Lots of space for our family of 6 (kids ages 15-21). Carl and Leslie were great hosts. There were fresh scones when we checked in. Beautiful view. We even saw a bear on the property! Quick drive to East Glacier for restaurants. Easy drive to Glacier entrances. The kitchen had everything we needed. Will definitely book this property again if we return.

Fabulous place to stay during your Glacier NP vacation
My entire family, 2 yr. old daughter included, loved our stay at Lone Elk. It was quiet, clean, and comfortable, and location wonderfully. Leslie was great as was her daughter in helping us out. Leslie and Carl clearly did not go cheap when designing their units as I have seen from time to time with other vacation rentals. The Lone Elk Lodge was really great, and I would recommend it to anyone going to GNP.

Great option for Glacier
Comfortable for 7 of us to all stay together near Two Medicine (25 min) and less than an hour from West Glacier. The well-stocked kitchen made it easy to cook meals, and we really appreciated the lawn games for a relaxing evening after a day of hiking. Beautiful view from the living room and the deck. No window in the master BR but the solar light is a nice touch. Leslie is super-friendly and was quick to offer loads of helpful recommendations.

This property is exactly as described and is very clean. Carl and Leslie are very thoughtful in the amenities that they have included in the rental. We appreciated being able to use the re-usable ice packs to pack our lunches every day and having bear spray available to take on our hikes. The property is beautiful. My family enjoyed playing ladderball in the yard each evening after returning from our daily excursions. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a rental in the Glacier region.

Fabulous accomodations and hospitality
We stayed for 4 nights of a 2 week trip to Waterton-Glacier National Park with our friends. We found the accommodations to be of the highest quality - beautifully built and decorated with marvelous views. The owner, who provided fresh scones on the day of our arrival, was very helpful with local restaurants and directions to Glacier's entrances for Many Glaciers, St Mary and Two Medicine, where we hiked. We even had a close (200') encounter with 4 grizzlies in Many Glaciers area and lived to tell the story! The pictures for this rental do not do it justice and all 4 of us would highly recommend it as a comfortable and convenient place to stay - we didn't want to leave!

Loved our stay at Carl and Leslie’s Ranch. It’s such a gorgeous property, 3 miles from East Glacier town center. It’s convenient to drive to Sun Road East entrance, as well as West entrance. The property is huge, with lovely fields, majestic views of snow capped peaks. The unit (Summit) faced the mountains, has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and kitchen is well stocked. The hosts are very friendly, came and met with us, lit the fireplace for us, had baked fresh welcome cookies. They gave us recommendations regarding things to do, places to visit and restaurants to eat at. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms had generous supplies of shampoo/body wash and even additional cosmetics. Single TV in living area, with access to Netflix, Amazon prime etc through Roku streaming. Good collection of books for all ages (children also) and board games available to play. Overall a 5/5 experience. Highly recommended. Will be back surely.

Beautiful East Glacier!
Lone Elk Lodge was the perfect place to stay in East Glacier! The property was clean and large enough to comfortably house the 7 of us. The property had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable, including a washer/dryer, fully-equipped kitchen, gas grill, wifi and bear spray. We cooked several breakfasts and dinners at the property, which allowed us to spend more of our time in the park. Carl Haggar introduced himself when we arrived, and he was gracious, friendly and very accommodating. The property is about 20 minutes away from the Two Medicine Lake entrance to Glacier National Park and about an hour away from the St. Mary's and Many Glacier entrances. The East side of Glacier NP is definitely the better side for majestic scenery and wildlife viewing. We were fortunate enough to see several bears and moose both in Glacier NP and while driving on the East side. Note that there are mosquitos outside the property and in the park so using bug spray is highly recommended. We really enjoyed our stay at Lone Elk Lodge and are grateful to Carl and Leslie Haggar for hosting us!

Beautiful location on the East side of Glacier
Upon arrival we were greeted by Leslie (owner of the home) and given a quick tour of the home, which was perfect for our group of 8. The home was well stocked with all of the essentials, including fresh baked scones as a welcome. The proximity to the east Glacier entrances was not bad. Two Medicine entrance was about 20 minutes and definitely worth a stop, especially at Running Eagle falls (Trick Falls). The St Mary entrance was a 40 minute drive, but well worth it as that’s the Going-to-the-Sun road entrance, which was open all the way when we visited. The third entrance, Many Glacier was about 90 minutes, but oh my, the views were spectacular! The home had amazing views as well, mountains, fields and even a horse, which my children loved feeding and petting. Leslie and Carl were always on hand yo answer any questions, and even offered suggestions of things to do. We did not try any of the local restaurants, but if you are planning on doing any cooking make sure to stock up in Browning (15-20 minute drive), as the local grocery was very limited. One last bit of advice, bring bug spray, the mosquitoes out here are relentless!
