"Bud was very hospitable and overall great! Externally, very aesthetic and inviting. The interior can definitely use some TLC, but it really also depends on your expectations. It’s a country house so don’t expect anything lavish or over the top. Another reviewer wrote that it’s like staying at grandma’s. Couldn’t agree more. If you like trendy and fancy, this is not the place. If you like rustic, quiet and low key- this will do the job. We enjoyed our stay. "

"Excellent breakfast! Sitting room available for guests was comfy with coffee/tea and delicious homemade cake. All very clean. Our room was small with little area for luggage. Hot/Cold water was reversed, but without my glasses on in the bathroom I couldn't read the script cap on the faucet. We ran the water for quite a while before we figured it out. Randy very knowledgeable about the area and a wealth of information on Stowe and environs. Would definitely stay here again."

"We booked this lake house for a short vacation. It is situated on a private lot with direct lake access and beautiful views. We had a couple of hiccups during our stay but Kyle was wonderful to work with and quickly made everything right.
