Amazing ocean views

This condo had amazing ocean front views. It was great to have the beach steps away, most days there weren't many people at the beach. The location was very quite away from the hustle and bustle of 7 mile beach. Yet you had a grocery store across the street, and several great resturant options near by. Byron was great to was very quick to respond and even helped us get a discount on the rebtal car. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a peaceful relaxing vacation.

Exceptional

Our family just stayed here for five nights and I wish we could have stayed longer. The condo was beautiful and well equipped for our family of five. The resort was great and it was close to a grocery store, liquor store and several restaurants. That end of the island was definitely quiet which was exactly what we were looking for. We would definitely stay here again.

When we got there we were blown away with the place. We were well informed of how to access the property with no problems.The Property Owners did a great job of maintaining the Condo. We are looking forward to going again an are going to try to rent it again when we go back.

Awesome Breathtaking Views of Sunset and Beach!!

The 5 night stay was top notch from check-in to check-out. Condo is clean and well maintained. The hosts are easy to communicate with for anything. Restaurants and grocery within walking distance of condo. Nice snorkeling in front of the condo, at the Wyndham Pier and at Morritts Pier. We fell in love with Tukka East and ended up doing a lunch, breakfast and dinner at Tukka. There is a very informative Guest Book on the coffee table with great go-to suggestions of restaurants and activities. We will definitely stay again if our travels take us back to Grand Cayman. The East End is very quiet with plenty to do. Bryon and Denitha are The Best!!

Great stay on East End

We had a great stay at this unit. We choose to stay on the quieter side and were glad we did. The unit had everything we needed and had plenty of space for our family of 5. The murphy beds worked great for us. We did a few of the Wyndham activities but spent most of the time at the beach or the pool next door. The snorkeling was great just from the beach. It was really convenient having the grocery store across the street. I would recommend this and stay there again.

Beautiful condo right on the beach

We had a wonderful vacation here. The condo is very nice and clean, exactly as described. The best part is that BR and LR balconies are directly over the ocean and you can have breakfast with amazing views or sleep listening to the ocean… Bryon is super responsive. We had an issue with one of the showers that was immediately addressed even though it was over the holidays Would highly recommend

Awesome! We absolutely loved staying here!

What a beautiful condo--ocean front with amazing views of the Caribbean, sunrises, etc! The Condo was super clean...great location with a grocery/liquor store and italian restaurant right across the street. PLUS, at The Wyndham Reef, there is a great bar/restauranct, also right on the water. Communication with the owners was fantastic! We will be back!

The location and property was perfect for us! We liked the East End as it's a bit slower paced which is what we love! Snorkeling was excellent! Tuuka's restaurant is a must; catch the frigate feeding! And at the end of each day we fell into the most comfy beds! A+ for the beds!

Wonderful Vacation

This was my second vacation with the family to the Wyndham and I must say having this private unit versus dealing with Wyndham is the way to go! The property itself is fantastic, on a quiet spot on the Northeast end of the Island with a great beach, multiple pools, bar and restaurant. This unit had many upgrades to it and communication with the owner was very thorough. My family will definitely be back again to enjoy this beautiful property and island, if you have not been to the Caymans yet you are missing out!

Absolutely Stunning

Our month stay at Bryon & Denitha's condo was one of the best vacations we have ever had. First and foremost, you could not ask for better hosts. The communication and assistance is nothing short of OUTSTANDING! They go above and beyond and very prompt responses. The condo is in a perfect location and very clean. Excellent ac and a washer and dryer, which comes in very handy because the weather in Cayman is always hot and humid. The beach is at your doorstep. Well equipped kitchen and plenty of smart tv's. Very big and comfortable balcony that gets sun in the morning, then is in the shade in the afternoon. Best of both worlds. There is a grocery store, liquor store, restaurants, gift shop, and even car rental right across the street. Surprised to find a Subway right next door and a newly opened coffee cafe that you can even get a gelato, coffee, pastries and more. My husband is an avid scuba diver and he went diving almost every day with Ocean Frontiers, a five minute drive (plus they have an office on site), and he was over the moon with this company. He met a super bunch of people and the price was awesome. We visited a parrot sanctuary, the blue iguana park, and went to Seven Mile Beach, Hell and went to the turtle park. Very interesting places to visit. The best tour we did was the Bioluminescent Electric Boat Tour with Cayman Kayaks in Rum Point (about a 20 minute drive) at night. We rented a car, but you can use a taxi to get around. Do not hestitate, RENT!

Exceeded my expectations

I owe Bryon and Denitha this review based on the sheer positive experience I had staying with them. I will try to cover top to bottom - LISTEN UP - If you are considering staying at the Wyndham Reef Resort - STOP!!! and consider staying at this property on the same resort first. I will put the bottom line up front. This property is immaculate - granite counter tops, spotless and clean at check in, furnishings are update with propeller type ceiling fans, warm LED track and recessed lighting which puts off no heat. Just a great property, in person is better than the pictures. CHECK IN - super easy with state of the art programmable code from the owners. Not to have a key card or key made this stay very nice. Never locked out and ease at entry. The room was ready at the stated check in time of 3PM. ROOMs - I can't speak highly enough of the villa's condition and modern furnishings etc. The Wyndham hotel side (same type rooms) can't even come close to Bryon's place. All the drains work, water pressure is phenomenal (nice and strong); ample hot water. Air Conditioning - This room has the ECOBee system installed for thermostats. Yes in Grand Cayman. Do you realize how efficient and uniform the AC was with this type of system, With B & D investing in just those type things makes this villa state of art. Friends who stayed at the hotel side were even more impressed with our rental.

DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS ONE!

As a traveler, I rely a great deal on reviews from previous guests for restaurants, attractions and accommodations. My general "rule of thumb" is to never go to any of the above with fewer than 30-50+ positive reviews. When I see only a handful of reviews, I am always weary that the persons friends or acquaintances may have provided false information. I was a little "gun shy" to pull the trigger on renting this property for just that reason BUT, since my Wife and I had been to this resort before and I knew how beautiful it was, I went ahead with the reservation. First off, this property is BEAUTIFUL!!!! Pictures do not do this place justice. There is a very spacious balcony just steps from the clear aqua water. It was absolutely spotless inside. Both bedrooms have comfortable king size beds. Each couple had their own private bedroom and bathroom with a nice relaxing shower/tub. The resort was well maintained at ALL times (pools, hot tubs, beach etc). The communication response time from the property owner was immediate!! within 10 minutes USUALLY LESS EVERY TIME! We rented a car both times we visited this resort due to the fact that it is on the east side of the island (much quieter) but you really would not have to since there is a small grocery store (well stocked), an Italian Restaurant and a Wine and Spirits store directly across the street. There are also several meal options right on property including a Subway, a beach bar as well as inside and outside beach dining. The Tides restaurant (also on property) also offers three different buffets on Monday (Caribbean), Wednesday (Seafood) and Friday (Steak) night. Don't miss out on a meal at nearby Tukka which has delicious food and offers a free shuttle to and from the resort .I wondered towards the end of our stay why this property only had six or seven reviews so I contacted the owner and found out that he has only recently started to rent his unit out. We are SO GLAD that we made this reservation. Just as a final note, go onto the Wyndham Coral Reef Website and compare the exact same unit that this offering provides and look at the price. You save a substantial amount by renting this unit. Like I said in my title DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS ONE!

Worst VRBO Experience Ever

Our stay was NOT enjoyable and trying to resolve the issue with Bryon was even less so not getting a satisfactory resolution. My husband and I rented this condo specifically for the view from the master bedroom that we were unable to enjoy for the first four of the six nights we stayed there. The ocean front master bedroom is where we expected to sleep to hear the waves and see the ocean when we woke up. It was only the two of us and we found ourselves sleeping in the back bedroom due the persistent fluttering noise coming from the roof. There was loose metal that needed a bracket to pin it down which didn’t happen until the fifth day, we had two nights that we could sleep in the master bedroom. The back bedroom has a window opening up to the back side of the condo where people walk to and from their units so the curtains had to stay closed which made it very dark, like sleeping in a cave. Given the noise was coming from the roof it could also be heard on the patio and as I said it was persistent with the wind that is more common on the east side of the island. Bryon sent a USD 75.00 voucher for the resort restaurant/bar for the inconvenience that we felt was not sufficient given what we paid for our stay. We reached out to Bryon noting that the voucher was appreciated but not enough for our inconvenience. Bryon did not reply so I reached out to him again the day after we arrived home requesting a partial refund for loss of use. Bryon noted they do not provide partial refunds if guests stayed in the unit for the entire period of their stay and the roof issue was “out of his control.” We responded that the fact that this was "out of his control" doesn't matter, he is the owner/responsible party. We rented the property from him and we did not get what we paid him for. We then proposed a partial USD 400 refund. That seemed reasonable, USD 100 for each night we did not get to use the master bedroom. He has refused even though we rented and paid for the full condo and only had partial use. Getting no resolution from Bryon, we contacted VRBO who indicated they would send Bryon an email regarding our issue but is seems that has also been ignored. We’ve been renting through VRBO for many years, this was by far our worst experience. On a side note, this is not one large condo, it is actually made up of two units, A and B, with an adjoining door and two front doors.

Cozy, comfortable, cool and clean

From initial booking through check out, Byron was friendly and responsive. The condo was cozy, comfortable, cool and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the Murphy beds were a great perk for siblings that do not want to share a bedroom. The views of the ocean and sunrises from the 3rd floor are breathtaking. The condo is very close to Ocean Frontiers if you are diving.
