"Love the convenience of early morning breakfast. It was good. In-room safe was unusable for us. It was on the floor and neither of us are able to use it, because of our age and agility."

"The Prospector Hotel and Casino is a funky little hotel with fun decor. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The one thing I will point out is there is no elevator so we had to lug our heavy suitcases up two flights of stairs, so if you have any mobility issues ask for a main floor room. They give you a coupon for a free cocktail or beer at the hotel bar when you check in which was nice. The restaurant had great food and good service. The casino only had slot machines and video poker but we aren’t gamblers so didn’t care about that. All in all we had a good stay and I would recommend the hotel especially for the price. "

"This is the second time we’ve stayed here! While the property is a little old they’ve done a good job of keeping it up. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. It’s very centrally located easy in and out. We travel by motorcycle and like to park right outside our room. We will stay here again if we’re ever in Ely"
