We were hoping to have a kayak ride as a group and that wasn't possible. 2 of the canoes were in excellent condition. The wooden steps at the bottom of the hill leading to the dock/water were very dangerous for 4 of us who were 60+ years old. It would be nice to have a flat place to sit with our chairs at the water, but realize that may not be possible on that property. The deck was great to have...

"Hosts are wonderful people. Very kind, understanding and effective communication. The house is as shown in the photos, very comfortable. I felt right at home. I have a rear wheel drive so I had some difficulty going up and down that hill in winter but the hosts tried their best to keep the driveway clear of snow and ice and if you have a front wheel/ all wheel drive then you’ll be fine. Overall my stay was good, and I truly enjoyed my stay. I’d definitely return for another stay"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Norma’s classic farmhouse. It was so welcoming and cozy, we settled right in. Our hosts were super friendly and easy to communicate with, we felt like we have known them. We had some really nice days to hike the trails nearby and quiet evenings by the fire pit. You are tucked away on a mountain so cell service is a little spotty but their wi-fi worked great. Short drive to conveniences and food but stock up and enjoy the charm inside. We would stay again anytime and...
