Glen Eagles Lodge is a FABULOUS year round cottage nestled in a wooded lot in Mountain View Estates with a large front porch and many amenities such as a pizza oven and fax machine. Just bring your family and relax in the wonderful atmosphere of Eagles Mere.

FIRST FLOOR: As you go through the front door you are greeted by a miraculous great room with a wood burning stone fireplace, a small dining area that flows into a wonderful eat-in kitchen that holds a stove, refrigerator, grill, 2 dishwashers, microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven, toaster, and prep sink. Along side of that is a butler’s pantry with the second refrigerator and sink; laundry area with washer & dryer; full bathroom with a shower only; a master bedroom with a queen size bed plus a TV/DVD/VCR and private full bath with shower only; front and back staircases.

SECOND FLOOR: Master bedroom with a queen size bed with private full bath; bedroom with 2 twin size beds; bedroom with a queen size bed; full bathroom with shower only; large bedroom with 8 single beds and TV and a door to the deck round off the second floor.

Glen Eagles Lodge sleeps up to fourteen. This is a non-smoking cottage. Gas grill. Pets are negotiable with a non-refundable pet fee. WiFi is available at Glen Eagles Lodge, but cannot be guaranteed.

Family getaway

Family Time
This is a lovely family home that was well-suited as a gathering place for our family. Eagles Mere has a charming, country, village-like feel. We hope to return in the summer to enjoy the lake.

Beautiful home and location, at a wonderful community near some great hiking and site seeing.
A great mix of indoor and outdoor amenities and character. Everyone had such a good visit. It reminded us of some great past VRBO rentals at ski mountains. Easy to correct, but the Owner should realize there is no dining table/chairs suitable for the family to eat together. Our group had to grab the nearest convenient chair, so we missed having the group "sit-down". For a weekend, it was only a small annoyance. For an entire week, it would have worn on us.

Enjoyable stay with some qualms
1. It was one of the most enjoyable vacation rentals we have been into. The property was well kept and maintained generally. 2. Most bathrooms wouldn't lock the door causing utmost inconvenience to use them with so many of us around. Some of the bedrooms wouldn’t lock either making some of the rooms completely unusable. 3. Many water taps were having loose parts or were simply old. Given that it's a cottage house and the theme is to be old and rustic it may be ok but taps still need replacement. 4. The bigger sink (closest to the garage) smelled like fish despite us cleaning in and around since day 1 causing uneasiness to some of our friends. 5. The furniture was moved to make space for kids running around so they don't get hurt. There was no damage to them. $100 for moving back just the couch doesn’t seem fair. 6. The administrative and credit card processing also seems unwarranted in the spirit of hospitality and courtesy.

A great weekend getaway!
The home was spacious yet cozy, and packed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including extra linens and kitchen appliances that made it easy to cook for our large group. The fireplaces and the foggy, misty mornings were a treat and the group took advantage of the great location close to hiking trails and overlooks. Overall, we would definitely come back! P.S. the rental agency was 10/10

Great Weekend Escape
Great house for a weekend escape with friends. Very comfortable home...we enjoyed the outdoor and indoor fireplaces. They really established great ambience. Plenty of towels and extra blankets! Kitchen was slightly cluttered with counter decor, but had everything we needed for making multiple meals. Overall we would definitely recommend!
