Cozy Eagle River Lakeside Log Cabin on Sunset Lake


Enjoy sunsets from the spacious deck, screen porch, or lake side campfire. Firewood is provided. Our lot is private, serene and level.
This cabin is the cozy log cabin you’ve always dreamed of. Close to snowmobile and ATV/UTV trails also there are miles and miles of biking and walking trails throughout the area.
Whether you’re visiting in the spring, summer, fall, or winter, it’s truly a year-round retreat!
Nestled between Eagle River and St. Germain.
Relax, Revive, Repeat…..

Sunset Lake is a private lake. There aren’t any public boat landings on the lake. We do have kayaks, and a rowboat. A 8 hp boat motor or pontoon boat are available for rent if you wish.
We suggest that if you plan on bringing a boat, that you boat on the nearby public access lakes. The Eagle River chain is in close proximity to our cabin. We boat on the chain very frequently and would love to provide tips and point you to our favorite restaurants that are on the water.
Sunset Lake Retreat is newly remodeled! Brand new appliances and brand-new mattresses!

7-night stays from Friday to Friday only bookings during peak months from mid June through August.
Pets are $100 extra.
Boat motor rental is $250 per week
Pontoon boat rental $1100 per week $250 per day with 1 tank of gas.

Amazing Stay!
This place is even more beautiful in person!! The location is beautiful and I loved being able to wake up to such a beautiful view and have a cup of coffee by the lake. The host also provided so many games to help us stay entertained! We will definitely be back!

northwoods getaway
We wanted a quiet lakefront stay and this place was everything we could have hoped for. Furnished as well as anyplace we have ever stayed, all the little things that you might have forgotten. Beautiful cabin in a great location
We loved this cabin. The sleeping accommodations were comfortable and the place was clean and updated. The long front porch was nice for sitting and visiting/watching the sunset and the screen porch was a nice option when the mosquitoes got bad. We paddled around the lake in the provided kayaks and it is a beautiful and peaceful lake.

Beautiful views from the deck, wonderful evenings around the fire pit. Great kitchen, well stocked with quality cookware and appliances. Comfortable seating and tastefully decorated living area. Overall one of the nicest places we have ever stayed!

Lovely cabin
We had a group of 4 (2 couples) and we were blown away with how perfect this cabin was. It was cozy, clean and in a perfect location right on the water. If I could add one thing, and only one because there’s nothing else I would change, I would add another queen size bed. It was a little hard to decide which couple got the master bed and which got the bunk. But even so, I will absolutely be coming back to this beautiful little spot!

Fun On Sunset Lake
This property is amazing! Bill & Cheryl are wonderful hosts who have thought of every detail to make your stay enjoyable. From games for everyone to providing 'Smores for the fire pit, they make you feel like a welcomed guest. The property itself is as good if not better than the photos, and the quiet lake setting was perfect for our group. Can't wait to go back next year!

Awesome cabin on Sunset Lake in Eagle River
The property was amazing and even better than meets the eye. All sorts of details were taken care of upon our arrival -- from firewood ready to burn to fishing equipment ready to use. The owners are excellent caretakers of their property and it was a pleasure to spend a week in such a relaxing environment.

Perfect getaway
Great cabin in a prime location with the lake right out front! The cabin had comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen and a great gas burning fireplace stove. Perfect for our family of 5, plus two dogs. We enjoyed ice fishing on the lake and some area skiing. Would love to come back in the warmer months to enjoy the screened in porch and lake!! Hope to be back soon! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Quote from my wife- best cabin we stayed at in the Northwoods! They gift you something special on the counter upon your arrival! They have thought of everything, games, marshmallow roasters, news paper to start campfire I could go on and on. Kids can play at the beach while we had coffee on the deck. Seriously they have something special here.
