Had an amazing time staying here. Located just across the road from Big Moose Lake but still felt secluded and private. Cabin was well kept and clean, plenty of chairs and tables for outdoor use. Loved sitting out by the campfire
My family and I loved our Big Moose Lake vacation and staying at this rental. The owner was very helpful and responsive, and welcoming of our two dogs! It was very convenient to grab dinner from the Big Moose Inn and Tavern, and the ability to use Big Moose Inn's docks, kayaks, and paddle board really made our trip!
The cabin was perfect! Very clean and a relaxing space to spend time with family. Conveniently located to Big Moose Lake, Inlet, Eagle Bay, Old Forge, endless hiking trails and water access! The property owners were very accommodating and personable! We enjoyed our family time away and look forward to going back again!
In town for a wedding and wanted to bring our dog and also do some hiking. This cabin is brand new, spotless, with wonderful radiant heated floors, a walk-in shower, and just the right amount of space for us. The location was not only near the wedding venue, but also plenty of hikes. The beds were comfortable, and we liked the place so much, we're thinking of building a similar one ourselves eventually! Check in was easy, and although my cell service was spotty, there was wifi and the cabin info included advice on other ways to make calls, so we were prepared for that with apps we used instead.
The cabin is new and beautiful. The lake was just a short walk down the driveway. The location is very quiet and out of the way but only a few minutes from town Mark and Susan were very friendly.. We hope to visit again next year.
My grew up vacationing and weekending at my grandfathers cabin on the Moose River. My wife is from Westchester and her thoughts on vacation are Myrtle Beach. So when we moved back to Central NY I knew what I had to do, and Camp Adirondack provided that.
Camp Adirondack was Awesome. The cabin was very clean and provided that cozy ADK feel. Kids enjoyed fishing, paddling and swimming off the dock. Leading them to claim they prefer the Lake and Mountains over the Ocean. My wife hasn't completely converted yet, but she is asking when our next vacation in the ADK will be.
Great stay in a brand new cabin in a beautiful rustic area. Limited cell service but to be expected in the woods. Beautiful area, plenty to do, felt very safe and clean and comfortable and warm. Manager was very attentive and easy to get ahold of. Would love to come back.
We had a wonderful time at Big Moose Lake Inn and Cottages. We stayed 3 nights and caught 5 very nice largemouth bass and many small ones. The cabin we stayed in was very nice and spacious, and had plenty of parking space for our 2 vehicles and boat trailers. Susan served a wonderful continental breakfast every morning.
Mark and Susan were wonderful hosts and we plan to return.
Second year we stayed here. Great location such an adk feel. Perfect for our family with kids and a dog. Thanks so much we will be back again next year!
There were 4 of us and the cabin was very cozy and accommodating! Everything we needed was there! Close to everything! The owner Mark was super friendly!! Having the Big Moose Inn across the street was an added plus!!!
Great cabin! It had all the amenities of home! Our weather was pretty nasty and we were thankful to have a great place to stay warm and dry. The Charcoal grill was a great bonus. The owner was quick to answer any question I had. And we also enjoyed walking to the Big Moose Inn for Dinner. Great food and atmosphere.
The place is immaculate! Everything you could ask for when staying in the ADK!
You walk in and all you see and smell is cleanliness. The owners don’t miss a beat with anything. Beds were super comfortable. The shower was fantastic and nothing like we’ve had before with other rentals. Although most of the area is closed due to the season we found plenty of hiking trails near by. A neighbor actually stopped by because he’s never seen the cabins before and told us about a terrific hike Bald Billy’s hike just a 3 minute drive to a spectacular view of the lake. It felt like home and will definitely rent both cabins next time! See you soon!!
The cabin was a wonderful place to spend a weekend away. The location was perfect for some outdoor activities. The cabin itself was immaculate and well organized with everything needed for our trip. The only thing we missed a bit was a knife for cooking. We made do with a steak knife but a chef’s knife would have been ideal. Overall was a wonderful trip and looking forward to coming back soon!
Excellent stay.
Good location for getting away from it all.
Kids amenities were perfect.
Cabin was clean, maintained, as expected.

Cabin not in sight of waterfront area...grill broke..wifi out alot for hrs at a time...no local tv or anything unless you have your own netflix or other account...no firewood provided considering the cost,,,...swimming area not good...fishing not good unless you have a boat...all in all for the $ spent it was really over priced for not having the things i listed
It was a perfect spot to bring the family and dogs. Mark was there for anything we needed. Great having the inn across the street to enjoy the dining and other amenities! Cabin was clean and plenty of space. We would definitely return!
nice location, good amenities, needs landline and wifi
A very nice, well-kept a recently constructed/remodeled cabin - perfect for our family of 4. The only issue is lack of communication on the property. I understand the Adirondacks can be remote, but the wifi did not work the whole time we were there, and we also had no landline, so there was no way to communicate with restaurants in town, friends visiting nearby, etc. I'm sure they're trying to fix the wifi, but a landline would be really valuable since there's no cell service. If that issue gets fixed, we'd love to return next summer.
