My VRBO reservation went flawlessly, but when it came to receive entry code instructions, apparently it got mixed up in a previous email account that I used years ago when renting my owned property in Florida. I had deleted that email years ago! I received one email on my current account stating "here are the keys to your rental", but when I went to my VRBO app I was unable to access any more information. The agent I spoke to tried to be helpful, but I had deleted the old email, and still was unable to get the information, So I went to the property in the dark rainy night, rang the doorbell and was not able rouse anyone, walked the dark path (it did have motion sensor lights along the way)
So I had to make alternate plans for the first night.
I returned in the morning and met with the host Wayne who was very welcoming, honored my reservation, gave me the key to the guest quarters and I had a very comfortable stay for the second night.
Wayne was very generous and had refunded my fee for the first night.
The guest quarters were very nicely laid out and immaculately clean and comfortable.
