This one bedroom home comfortably sleeps 4, one queen size bed in large master bedroom and one queen sleeper sofa. Full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, full serving/cooking setup, beautiful views. High end finishes, hardwood floors, tiled bathrooms, high end doors, windows. Outdoor covered patio with fire place and BBQ grill. Safe, off street parking.

Close to town, but private and plenty of space to park, play, and sleep in a clean, comfortable setting. Covered parking, full size laundry in the home. Plenty of closet space, huge TV, direct TV service, wireless hookup.

Super Awesome Stay
The location and accommodations were great. Just 15 minutes away from Durango, a little ways into the mountains, but easy access to all the sites in the area.

Wonderful getaway
Amazing cabin in a great setting. We really enjoyed the comforts of home and as always on the top of our list it had a comfortable bed. Covered parking was an added bonus. We highly recommend this place.

Peaceful location nestled on a beautiful property.
Owners clearly take pride in their cabin and the rest of the beautiful property it is on. You could enjoy spending countless hours relaxing here or use it as a home base to come back to after an adventurous day of activities in the Durango area. The amenities served any of our potential needs.

Idyllic Cabin in the Mountains
We loved our stay here. Our host and her family were very friendly and helpful. The property is aboslutely gorgeous and there were lots of things to do in the area. The house had everything we needed, and was beautiful inside and out. Wish we had more time here!

This place is a gem! Perfect location being 15ish mins from downtown while having a secluded feel. The property is beautiful - we loved strolling & fishing the private river! Sitting out on the deck & enjoying the scenery was amazing. We will definitely be back!!

Perfect Place
We had a wonderful stay in the precious cabin. It was very well stocked and comfortable. Sitting on the porch watching the wildlife was so relaxing. If we ever have the opportunity to visit the area again we hope this property will be available.

Great host very accommodating, cabin was just outside of Durango for the piece and quiet Great property. This was our second stay at this property we love it will be back next year. Everything we wanted to do was within 2hrs.

So much fun. We enjoyed the clean cabin and secluded feeling. Had a great time by the river with the kids and sitting outside eating and the fireplace was very memorable. Great host. Will be back.

Week trip with husband and niece
We enjoyed the house and the 10 minute drive from either end of Durango. We drove out to Lemon Dam after seeing the sign all week and I loved it. I loved the Aspen trees, we saw a huge elk and some deer. The house was a good size and the check in and out was a breeze.

My Wife, 2 boys (9&5), and myself thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Kathy was the most amazing host and made sure that everything we needed was taken care of. We stayed very busy seeing the sites around Durango, but our time at the house was extremely relaxing. One of our favorite parts of the whole trip was relaxing by the Florida River. Remarkable Stay
My wife and I wanted a getaway in Durango with a home in a quiet area and just a short drive to downtown and this place delivered everything we needed. The property was just as described in the listing and we loved the covered carport. The property has two other houses on it but we honestly couldn’t tell anyone else was around the entire time. The owners actually reached out to us to welcome us and we’re available by phone at any time. Just the best stay. Highly recommend!!

Upon entry, we didn't readily find the living space. Until we found the stairs! This was perfect for a couple. Although we enjoyed all our meals on the little balcony off the kitchen, we grilled on the ground level patio. Bed was very comfortable. We saw a golden eagle right outside our window!

Beautiful setting...wonderful hosts
Such a comfortable place. Surroundings were quiet, could hear the river running. Had everything needed for a place to return after a busy, fun day. Recommend Steamworks for yummy food. Spent a full day on the Durango-Silverton train ride, which was fun. Hiked a few areas of Mesa Verde, viewed the cliff dwellings. Our hosts were so cordial and welcomed us with a tour of their beautiful property. Definitely recommend.
