Peaceful yard, near hot springs, dogs welcome!

This is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath duplex that sleeps 7 people. There are 3 beds and one blowup mattress. It sits on a 1 acre lot so there is a big beautiful yard and extraordinary views of the Animas Valley. It is across the street from the Durango Hot Springs, and 15 minutes from the Ski Resort and Downtown Durango. It is 2 minutes from Dalton Ranch Golf course, the river, restaurants and a grocery store.
The space
This property is a duplex. The yard is not completely fenced in. In the event that both sides of the houses on the property are rented out, the yard will be shared. It is a big yard so even half of the yard is a lot of space. There is a small fenced in patio. The property has several apple trees that you are welcome to pick if you come in the fall!

We enjoyed our stay in Durango as always. The house didn't live up to the online description though. Don't like to give negative reviews but had to mention to be fair. The parking was great for our SUV and trailer with Jeep towed, plenty of room. The house was quirky but clean, dark hallways and bedrooms with no area rugs in bedrooms. The main view is the house next to it. There was no patio table and chairs and the BBQ was in need of repair but got it to work. The lawn was half dead, overgrown landscaping and chairs out in the yard were old, dirty and bad shape. No cornhole game as in picture but we did manage to find a dusty ping pong table in garage. You are near the highway so be ready for traffic noise. Pretty yard but needed lots of attention. There were some directions inside the house but all six remotes for living room TV didn't work but the owner was nice enough to stop by and reprogram and leave the 2 that were working. No AC but could run the fan and had ceiling fans. Hope there are improvements.

I loved the house, the covered deck, the never-ending yard and the peace. I highly recommended for individuals traveling with dogs! The spot is just perfect!

Our family with adult children (and 2 dogs) enjoyed our stay in the roomy house. 2 large bedrooms with comfy linens and large open kitchen/family room to gather. Well stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay including fans in all rooms for Summer heat. Big new washer/dryer.
