This open concept, two-level condo sits on the top floor of the Jarvis Building, right in the heart of old town Durango, with all its charms within easy reach. The historic Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge Train provides a timeless backdrop as it passes by the condo each morning - you can wave from the patio. The famed Animas River Trail (two blocks west) is perfect for scenic walks, and bike rides. You'll also be a short stroll from the Durango Silverton Train station, the farmers market, grocery & liquor stores, and an easy drive to the slopes of Purgatory Resort (27 miles north) and Mesa Verde National Park (35 miles west). Bike rentals are three minutes from the front door.

Memorable stay in historic Durango
The loft was perfectly located in the historic area - steps from shopping and dining. The kitchen was well-equipped, there were plenty of towels and toiletries. Parking was complimentary on-property. Take some time to view the framed photos in the lobby, elevator, and halls for an old west perspective.

Wonderful condo in a perfect location
We loved staying in this property. It was very clean, had all we needed in the kitchen and the bed was comfortable. It is just around the corner from Main Street where we enjoyed dining, shopping and it was a quick walk to the train station.

This property is an excellent place to land in downtown Durango. My husband and I have visited every year and this property is the perfect combination of space, comfort and convenient location. This was our second time staying here and we were just as happy as we were during our first stay.

Road Trip
Stayed here for a week in the middle of a 4-week roadtrip. Spacious, well-appointed condo in an incredible location. Walked everywhere. Dining, shopping, grocery store, pharmacy, etc. The noise on Friday and Saturday nights mentioned in other reviews didn't really bother us. The listing does mention coin-operated laundry facilities, but we didn't notice that and so we didn't come prepared with quarters. Next time we will.

Condo was in a perfect location for dining/shopping/biking the Animas River Trail in downtown Durango. Decorated nicely and impeccably clean. Dedicated parking spot was a big plus! Great/timely communication. Easy check-in /out. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Condo
Such a beautiful cozy condo with lots of thought put into all of the extra touches. It does have stairs so keep that in mind if you have problems with stairs. Access and parking were convenient and easy. Building does have an elevator as this condo is located on the third floor. Close walking distance to shopping, restaurants and bars. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful condo, well appointed. Perfect location. Not sure where the manager of the property is located. The kitchen light was not functional and we were unable to connect with anyone who could remedy the situation. Overall a nice stay though.

Nice clean condo BUT a couple of concerns
The condo was clean and very homey. We were able to get to different places in Durango without a problem like the Hot Springs and the Bar D Wranglers. We love to see the train come and go each day. We do have a couple of issues though. One is that the condo is located next to a bar which plays loud music until 2 in the morning. Also the king bed is not comfortable because you cave in on the mattress.

Ideal location
The condo is beautifully appointed and fit our needs well. The location is ideal in downtown Durango. We walked to majority of restaurants and shops. Very short drive to Fort Lewis College where our daughter was starting school. Great base for hiking, trip to Mesa Verde, scenic drives and Durango Hotsprings. The main downside was the bar across the street which played very loud music on Friday and Saturday nights. Obviously this is out of the property owners control. Fortunately, the provided sound machine really helped. The mattress really could use an upgrade - very soft and uncomfortable to me (although I have back issues and it didn’t bother my husband as much).

Wiring was concerning, light flickering. Only some Outlets worked. On 3rd floor. Elevator broke on day 2 of 7 Thought W&D were in condo but was coin operated. Still nice. Wished there was TV I’m bedroom. Had family emergency for brother in law cancer surgery and had to leave unexpectedly. Would have appreciated a 50% refund of remainder regardless of policy, considering the emergency was a shock and not in my controlling I
