Beautiful home in private setting yet only15 min to town & 10 min to lake

This upscale vacation rental is located on a private 3 acre lot 15min from Durango on a paved road. It is the ideal retreat to return to after a day of site seeing with family and friends.

This beautifully landscaped home has a large, fully fenced, pet friendly yard. The house will sleep 8 people. We offer free WiFi. There are 3 bedrooms each with their own bath plus a queen fold out sleeper sofa in the family room. The entire upper floor is a master suite with a private balcony over looking the yard.

Lake Nighthorse is 10 min away and will open Apr 1st with swimming, boating and fishing. Canoe and kayak available at the lake.

Beautiful Home Base yo Explore Area
The property was clean and as charming as depicted by the pictures! The kitchen was very well stocked and functional. Rick had also provided some wonderful locally roasted coffee. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would be happy to stay again should we return to the area.

Great family ski rental
We loved this property! It had everything we needed and more, stocked with all the little amenities like lotion and bath salts. Our family of five relaxed here while we spent a few days skiing at Purgatory resort which was an easy drive. The hot tub was great and game room kept the kids happy.

Beautiful property and amazing location. We had a family vacation for my son's college graduation and this property was spectacular. Beautiful kitchen, amazing deck, lots of space, beautiful views. Will definitely be back.

This home was in a great neighborhood. We were a family of 6 and we had plenty of room for all of us. Loved the foosball table and dart game. Rick was so kind to shovel the snow for us in the morning. We really appreciated his kind gesture. Would love to stay again. Loved the hot tub too.

Beautiful property outside of Durango
Beautiful house with beautiful yard including visiting deer, The house was a little further from town than I realized but just had to plan to take the time to get places . The house is well stocked with everything you need except for condiments which seems standard after Covid. The deck overlooking yard is a great place to relax and BBQ.

Great Property for Larger Groups or Families with Older Kids
Property is beautiful and quiet with lovely views and remote feel while still being close enough to Durango. We mostly used the large kitchen (really nice!) and the two main floor bedrooms. The large king size master (which was very nice) was too far away from the other rooms to work for our family with very young children. Hot tub was nice and easy to access.

Just outside Durango
We loved the house but we loved the setting even more: the fenced yard with a lawn and boulders and aspen trees amid pines was just what we needed to get away from it all. The dogs loved everything too. We are eager to go there again

Winter Wonderland Hideaway

Adorable house / great place to make memories
The house is great, very spacious and well taken care of. The kitchen living room area is a great place to spend time making memories. I would recommend some blinds, it gets a little creepy at night when its pitch black outside but the lights are on inside. Overall everything was great and the host communicated well.

Peaceful Stay in the Beautiful Mountains
Property is exactly as advertised. The fall colors were popping and we had a wonderful time. Town was only a few minutes away and we really enjoyed our dinner at Fired Up Pizza. We also enjoyed making dinner at the house. It is so quiet and peaceful. Lots of hiking trails close by. Strongly recommend Gudy's Rest if you like awesome views!!
