The bathroom sink had a problem draining because someone before us had clogged the drain with a large amount of facial hair.

Spring Break getaway
We enjoyed our stay in this cozy condo! It was clean, decorated well and had everything we needed for the week. It is sized perfectly for couples but also worked for us and our two young children. The sleeper sofa is actually comfortable. We enjoyed the balcony, property amenities (pools, hot tubs, playground and on-site washers). Parking was simple and conveniently located between Durango and Purgatory.

Not worth it.
Vrbo Review: DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU ARE SKIING. The shuttle pick up is a 30min walk uphill from the condo. The shuttle bus only comes at 8:20am and 4:30pm and if you miss the shuttle bus then you have to rely on Durango Taxi service. The walk to the shuttle is extremely icy and dangerous. The Taxi service is understaffed and you have to book in advance if you expect to have a ride. Even if you find a ride with the taxi service they won’t come pick you up from the condo you have to still walk the 30 minutes to the shuttle pick up and they charged us 100 just to take us to the mountain. Paige working the front desk at Tarrarom is horrible. There is no Uber or Lyft services either. Also, when our flight got cancelled we asked to stay an additional night because we have no we’re else to go. However, the Vrbo host said no (even though they don’t have another check in due to the snow storm) so had to hitch a ride and stay with random people. There is also no good Wifi service at the condo so make sure you have a hot spot that works. Also, the thermostat was not working for us. Lastly, the queen size bed is hard as a rock so I ended up sleeping on the couch. Purgatory mountain is understaffed so you will be waiting in lines for about 30mins just to get a cup of water. Also, the Purgatory mountain is not groomed so would be a challenge if one is a beginner. I have been skiing my whole life and have stayed at over 15 different ski resorts and this is by far the WORST ski trip experience I’ve ever had. Again, DO NOT STAY HERE IF SKIING. HUGE WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!!!

Durango Mtn. Vacation
Loved our accommodations, but had to perform minor MX first thing when the toilet bowl did not refill along with being limited to one small coffee pot (1.5 cups) despite having three in the closet. Accepted those minor inconveniences. However, one should expect basic services to be available. There are some positive customer experiences combined with one interaction putting a slight damper on the stay. Our plans changed around 28 June. I reached out to customer service looking to secure our stay for one more night checking out 30 June. The customer rep, Erica, was great to work with for sure. Good news is that we were able to extend our reservation one more day. Although, we were not informed our cards needed to be rekeyed. This info would have been helpful prior to hiking 11+ miles and wanting to re-enter our unit the evening of 28 June. So, we called customer service again connecting with Erica who stated our cards would require rekeying. Upon entry to the lobby, a sign was on the counter indicating the rep was away and would return shortly. One MX person stated the rep was in the bathroom. Another person asked if we had been helped. I remarked we had been waiting a while (~5-10 minutes). Shortly afterward, the rep came to the desk. We inquired if she was ok as she appeared not looking well. The response was that she has just thrown up. Again, we asked if she was fine. The customer rep was a bit abrupt making a remark why the sign was on the desk and that she was going throw up there or in the bathroom. We asked if she needed a couple of moments. Not sure if there was a comment as we explained we needed to have our cards rekeyed. The rep for our ID’s along with a remark stating the system had not been updated indicating I presume our extension. Maybe this was a perfect storm. No one told us about having the cards rekeyed. We initially felt bad for the rep not feeling well. Not so much after the comment about the sign and the fact we were inconvenienced too. It’s not like there was a delay charging our card. Overall, we appreciated the location and condo unit. Basic services need to be provided.

Road up to my condominium
There was a small winter Storm. From Sunday PM through Monday PM. The actual.responsibility of keeping internal roads passable was out of the control of the people we rented from. They blamed The Glacier Club. Bottom line is The Glacier Club did not care much about the road heading up to our condominium. There was 200 feet of the road which prohibited us from getting out of our property and take advantage of amenities on the property.
