A wonderful base to get to know the Basque nature and culture. Anne and Kerman are very hospitable and were always available if necessary. "If you like staying in an renovated old home whose interior has features that were preserved and used in the decor, this is the place for you! Gorgeous doors, beams, stone kitchen sink etc. make this place unique. While at times a bit musty, the setting was beautiful The hosts went above and beyond to help us with the arrival and continued to check in with us."

"Das Haus ist ein Teil einer Einheit mit drei Apartments. Alles weitere ist wie angegeben. Die grosse Terasse ist nicht einsehbar, so dass man den Ausblick ungestört genießen kann. Fernando und seine Frau sind hervorragende, sehr zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Man kann direkt vom Haus loswerden und ist unmittelbar im Naturschutzgebiet. Fußläufig gibt es zwei gute Restaurants (falls man nicht kochen möchte). Insbesondere Goiko Benta ist sehr zu empfehlen. Die Unterkunft ist für Fahrer von Sportwagen /...

"This was a perfect home for our group of 6 (2 young children, 2 parents, and 2 grandparents) tucked away in the hills. It was conveniently located for day trips in the surrounding area. We spent wonderful afternoons lounging in the yard reading and watching the horses graze in the pasture right below us. Great kitchen, comfortable beds, and pleasant rooms for relaxing and visiting. The drive up the narrow road leading to the home seemed surreal. Couldn’t recommend the place more."
