"My family and I had a great time at the Harstine Island Cabin. It's in a wonderful location tucked back into the woods for a tranquil, camp like setting. And we loved it's close proximity to the beach. Our family of 3 loved how the loft has been updated and we all comfortably slept up there and left the bedroom open, so it would comfortably sleep more than us. Upon arriving we were greeted by two deer who seemed to walk by to say hi. The kitchen had everything we needed, the towels were soft and...

"Cute A Frame property. Spotless. A bit of an issue with the front door opening into the bathroom and a second bedroom. If you’re using the bedroom and someone is in the washroom, you’re trapped. Other than that inconvenience, it’s a nice property with a great view. "

"We loved staying in this cabin that truly is right next to the Nisqually River. Sitting out on the porch watching the river flow by is refreshing in the morning and relaxing in the evening. "We absolutely loved this little home. It had breathtaking views that made you feel far from everything even though you're just in a typical suburb. The house is old and it's obvious, but that adds to the rustic charm. You can tell the owner loves it. There are kayaks and firewood in the garage and some basic kitchen essentials. Will definitely book next time if available."

"We had a great time during our stay. I do have a recommendation, though. Please upgrade the paper products -- the paper towels and toilet paper are both thin and cheap. We didn't have enough toilet paper or regular bath towels for three adults and a child."

The outdoor space is the perfect place to eat and play games together. Enjoyed picking blackberries, watching the wildlife, making smores at the fire pit, and playing outdoor games. "This is a great property for a wide variety of guests. It was just the two of us staying for a long weekend (super cozy, and quiet) but it would be great with kids or multiple adult couples. Space to spread out if needed and a daylight basement if the kids need to get some energy out. "

"Great stay, even in the winter the boat was nice and warm. Lots of wildlife and boats coming and going, even had a visit from a seal. Very walkable location in gig harbor and great access driving to everything else. 10/10 will be back! "
