Peaceful, comfortable, relaxing 2BR/2B waterfront home with very private fenced backyard. Unlimited high speed internet. King size beds in both bedrooms and a Queen size sleep sofa to accommodate up to 6 guests. Enjoy beautiful river views from the screened back porch. Large over the river deck with table and seating for six where you are able to watch the waterfowl, otters and turtles playing. Feed the fish from the deck. Deck is gated to prevent your pets from accessing the river. Fish from your dock or deck. Dock your private boat at the dock or use the four provided free kayaks complete with a kayak launch. LED lighting on the deck for nighttime enjoyment. Enjoy the backyard firepit, 5 bikes and a cornhole game. The Withlacoochee River and Lake Rousseau make for some excellent trophy bass fishing. Children are welcome. Dogs are welcome. Public boat ramp is located just 2 miles from the house. Downtown Dunnellon with it's quaint antique shops and cafes are 8 miles away. A close drive to the Rainbow River head springs & KP Hole county park with crystal clear designated swimming areas. Close by is Three Sisters Springs where you can swim and snorkel with manatees, Crystal River has lots of dining, shopping, varied festivals and fishing guides, during the summer scalloping is a popular activity. The home is conveniently located to Homosassa Springs, Crystal River, Silver Springs, Inverness and Ocala. World Equestrian Center 19 miles. Come enjoy an old Florida get away with all the Nature Coast has to offer or just do nothing and relax at the private setting with the sounds of nature. The beauty of Old Florida with it's abundance of wildlife is sure to please so don't forget your camera.

Absolutely amazing place to come and relax, especially with dogs. Very nicely equipped in terms of kitchen and bathroom. Having access to kayaks and bikes is a special touch too! Excellent communication throughout the booking process and stay. The water level was low when we were there so it too two people to carefully get kayaks in and out of the water but all the waterways and places to explore were more than worth it. The folder of information was thorough and very helpful. Already booked a return visit!

This was a great place for us to stay while visiting my brother in Dunnellon. The fenced backyard was perfect for our pet. This is by far the most well stocked vacation rental we have ever stayed at. Very comfortable overall.

Very nice place

This is our second stay here. Enjoy the house, porch, and yard. Fenced in yard is great for our dog. Owners go out of their way to help you with any concerns. Thank you for letting us stay.

A relaxing river getaway

My family loves this rental! We have visited twice of the holiday weekend and enjoyed it very much both times. The property is clean and equipped with the essentials. Our family enjoyed the scenic backyard and fishes right from the dock. Highly recommend!

Relaxing family getaway

This was our 3rd time staying at this property and there is a reason we keep coming back. My kids love fishing off the dock and running around in the backyard. The property is the perfect size for a family of 4 with a good amount of space for everyone. We already have 2 more trips booked to return. Great find not too far from Rainbow River!

Perfect setting

We could not have picked a better place for what we needed. The location was great. Quiet and cozy! The backyard was secure for the pup while also giving us easy access to the river. With it on the Withlacoochee

Outstanding property in a beautiful area that provides everything you need for a first-class stay. Very well maintained both inside and out and stocked with toys galore. We took the kayaks out daily from the dock and explored up and down the river. Tons of other options for kayaking, biking, hiking, etc in the immediate area make this the perfect base camp for your Nature’s Coast adventure.

Enjoyed home and area

House was as stated. Very clean and could tell it was well cared for home. Our dog enjoyed the fenced backyard. Good restaurants in the area. It was somewhat chilly while we were there, so no fish were biting. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Wonderful!

What a great place! The home was plenty big for my husband, me and our 2 pups and it was one of the cleanest homes I've ever been in. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking, the 2 beds were large and comfortable, and the A/C was nice and cold! Outside was a big surprise with a very large, fenced in yard, right on the river with a wonderful dock, kayaks and a fire-pit to use, and a lot of beautiful trees. Overall this was such a quiet, peaceful place and we will definitely stay here again; we loved it!

Country Cottage

Our stay was very enjoyable! From the creek/river that runs behind the house and having kayaks on hand to enjoy was great! We like that the house had almost everything we needed except a lighter to light the outside firepit lol! We had to get creative with that one. Overall it was a enjoyable, quiet stay even though the Florida weather was a little off that week. 😁

This was our second time staying at Karen and Ed’s lovely home on the river. It felt like coming home. Our hosts think of everything. There is not one thing I would change. It’s quiet and peaceful and lovely. We kayaked and ate out and sat on the river deck. Our dogs were safe and enjoyed protecting us from the squirrels. We’re coming back next year!

It’s all about the details, they put allot of time into the details. The soft sheets, the perfectly fenced in yard, kayaks, bikes, fire pit, towels, pots pans, everything you could think of and more. They even had a s’mores kit to make the perfect gram cracker marshmellow treat over the fire. On the river and 9 minutes away from Dunkin donuts

Fantastic property

We were looking for a rental in this area because it reminds us of "old Florida". This property appealed to us for the location, the deck and waterfront, and the fenced yard - which was fabulous for our 2 Golden Retrievers. What we didn't expect was the incredibly attention to detail that was provided. The host's were superb, and obviously go out of their way to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. I would rate this a 10 if that were possible. We very much look forward to our next visit back here!

Hidden gem of a place

This place never ceases to amaze us with how beautiful and relaxing it is. It is just far enough from everything to feel secluded but close enough to whatever you want or need. There’s plenty of things to do in the area or nothing at all. I just wish everyone that stays here would stop telling people how great it is because it’s getting so hard to find openings to come back. That being said if you stay here you won’t regret it as it will draw you in and you’ll want to come back again and again. Never had a trip here that wasn’t exactly what we needed to have a nice relaxing time and enjoy the great outdoors. Plus the local restaurants are really good as well.

Perfect place to celebrate my 70th!

Everything about our stay at Karen's was perfect. The house is spotless from top to bottom. The kitchen is well stocked, but not cluttered. The bed was super comfy. I honestly can't think of anything they didn't think of to make this beautiful home a special place to get away to. As someone posted earlier, it's all about attention to detail. We OP really appreciated the lightweight kayaks as the river was low and it was a bit of a drop to the launch. Had a great time just paddling around the area. So much to do in this area if you like the outdoors. Citrus Springs Trailhead to the Withlacoochee Bike Trail just 6 miles away. We've stayed in many homes in the Inverness, Floral City, Dunnellon area over the past few years. This one is top notch!

Peaceful, quiet, huge well fenced back yard

Right on the river with a large well maintained back yard. Quiet neighborhood. The house was a perfect 2 bedroom 2 bathrooms with a nice layout. Open floor plan, screened back porch. A cardinal came to the bird feeder for breakfast every morning occasionally both male and female. The master bed was very comfortable we both slept very well. Plenty of closet and drawer space. Smart tv worked very well. We went to the Gypsy Gold horse farm tour and Captain Jacks horse riding trail. Both were very good. You are close to Belleview and Dunnellon, restaurants and Publix grocery and a Walmart although we never saw. A lot of walking trails so be sure to take some bug spray. There are so many things the host has provided I can’t imagine being disappointed with your stay.we didn’t use the kayaks, bikes, fire pit or grill this time but they are available. There is even a S’moors kit and games in the utility room cabinet! She’s thought of many things that I didn’t. Really nice touches like mints and books about the area. We will likely come back again. A lot of trails left unexplored. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Outstanding pet friendly vacation home in the country, close to multiple springs!

My husband and I stayed here with our 3 dogs. We also trailered our kayaks up to visit the springs. We had an absolutely fantastic vacation here and definitely want to come back! The house was immaculate and extremely well stocked. It had paper towels, plenty of toilet paper, trash bags, spices for cooking, plenty of towels, etc. Each shower had a dispenser with body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. We didn't use them because we had ours, but they had four kayaks at the house. They even had firewood and a smores kit! There was also a basket by the back slider with a flashlight, sunscreen, and bug spray. They even had a bowl outside for water for the dogs. Karen was super communicative with us and even gave us the option of early check in. She was also extremely accomodating to us bringing three dogs. The dogs had so much fun between going up and down the stairs, sitting on the deck looking at the water, and all of the squirrels! The house itself is out in the country. Its so peaceful there, but also only about 15 minutes into town. You can easily get groceries delivered, run in for dinner, etc. The beds are super compfortable and the TV's support airplay so you can stream your netflix if you wish. I really can't say enough good about the owners and the property. We had an amazing vacation.

Thanksgiving Getaway

This is our second visit to Dunnellon and it was even better than last year, especially because we knew how beautiful it was and that everything we would need for a memorable feast day would be provided.
