"We have stayed at Palmetto Cottage 2 years in a row. It is a beautiful property in a fabulous location. It is homey, has central AC, if needed, and lots of kitchen goods for cooking meals. Both the inside living space and the porch were great for sitting and relaxing. The sandbar and beach are stunning. "

"Visited with partner and her parents. The road is rough, as with most roads off of the highway on Eleuthera. The house is beautifully minimal, but has the essentials that you need. The view from the house is breathtakingly beautiful, and the visceral experience down at the beach is humbling in the best way possible and in a way that I do not think can be re-created anywhere else."

"This property is a small gem! Cozy for 2 people with everything you need. We like to cook our meals and found no problems there. The area is quiet and your private beach is extremely private and beautiful. With shallow white sandy beach, better than the pictures!One must in a vacation is having a good night sleep, and the bed and pillows in the cottage are absolutely wonderful!It is a bit away from the center of Spanish wells where stores and restaurants are, but having the golf cart included...

The sandbar was right down the street (an easy kayak away) and the golf cart made getting into town easy and fun. Beautiful area, loved the seclusion. Highly recommend!"

"We loved this house and the location. You are walking distance to amazing beaches and the house provided a lot of needed items. Having the golf cart with the house was top notch, much needed for getting around. "Fantastic! A great location and a perfect place to unwind and relax. The wonderful view was enjoyable from both inside and out on the deck. Our host was super helpful and responsive. The kitchen and cottage in general were very well equipped, well maintained and, up to date. We walked to the Sand Bar for delicious food and cocktails, everything else was a short golf cart ride away. Highly recommended. "

"Our stay was amazing...how can it not be at Harbour Island. I do think it could be clearer that the queen bed is not in the upstairs master bedroom. My husband and I decided to stay downstairs in the guest room simply to have a queen size bed instead of a double bed. Our door was a leaver door with slats that didn't lock so not a lot of privacy. Super trival but I do think a shower door down stairs would be helpful instead of a small piece of glass. We seemed to get water on the floor and...

Due to an airline issue we needed 3 extra nights at the very last minute and we were graciously accommodated. This was a great space for us and highly recommend Harbor House."
