"We - myself, my adult daughter and her dog - spent a week at the property. It's clean, warm, fully equipped and a great location to 'get away from it all' and explore South Donegal. All in all, everything went well and we had a great time. Highly recommend this property - just be aware that it IS remote (but that's part of the attraction)."

"The minute we walked into this cottage we knew we had chosen the right place for our extended family meet-up in Ireland. Beautifully decorated with lovely fabrics and furniture. The kitchen has upscale appliances and it too, is artful in its presentation. The bathroom is lovely too. One of the best parts is that it's at the end a narrow rural road, with just another cottage. The view is spectacular with rolling hills, sheep and rock walls. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and we're already...

"This roomy cottage is just perfect for a getaway at the edge of the world and can comfortably accommodate a large family or a couple of couples and kids. Your hosts Pauline and Hugh are marvellous and are happy to help with suggestions on nearby attractions and the surrounding countryside is breathtaking with towering mountains right next to a proper surf beach. The local sheep make it all so idyllic. We’ll be back soon."

"The house has plenty of room with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, which makes for quick showers for everyone in the morning. The kitchen is nicely equipped and everything including the wash machine worked well. The town has a nice market just three doors down and is minutes from Donegal and other sites like Sliebh League cliffs. The rooms were comfy and quiet and our hosts were attentive and gracious. "We absolutely loved our time at The Snug. We went to Slieve League cliffs one day (beautiful not to be missed!)Donegal town one day and had a delicious meal at the Blueberry Cafe and explored the town and Donegal Castle. We ordered food from TJs takeaway and ate in Mac's pub. ( Edel is an absolute angel) We went to the Marina Cafe in Killybegs 2 times. Everyone was so so friendly!! We loved our little place in Dunkineely....we felt like locals. Everyone knew of it when we shared where we were...
