Sunny and Relaxing, House on the Hill

A spacious sunny house with all day sun! Located in a quiet street, very relaxing, yet only 5 minutes drive to the city centre.

The house is warm and comfortable with an open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge which offers space for relaxing and entertaining. Great indoor, outdoor flow to the deck/patio area. The modern kitchen has everything you'll need to enjoy your stay.

Heated by a wood burner and heat pump, you'll always be toasty as you take in the sweeping vista from the lounge and dining room.

We are very close to the City, (5 minute drive) and Forsyth Barr Stadium, just a 7-10 minute drive, or alternatively there is a bus stop nearby.

Smoking allowed outside only.

Access to the front door is up steep steps, so may not be suitable for people with mobility issues, please ask if concerned.

Cute & Quaint Neighborhood Home
Nice home located in quiet neighborhood with pretty views of hillside. Centrally located with very short drive to town, shopping and activities. We stayed early May so there was a chill in the air, the heat pump worked well and took the chill out of the air. Keep the inside hallway doors open while heat pump is going; it warms the house nicely. Wood burning fireplace was a nice touch to warm the front rooms, nice and cozy. Kathryn was quick with communication when we arrived and had a few questions. Would stay again.

Perfect Final Destination!
Kathryn’s home was our last stop on our New Zealand vacation. We came with 5 kids and my mother in law, and it was perfect for our group of 8! The house is gorgeous, and we had plenty of space to spread out. Dunedin is a fun area to explore, and I recommend you visit Moons if you’re looking for dinner. Kathryn is very communicative and made check in/check out so easy. I love the coffee bar! Thank you so much for such a memorable experience!

We had a wonderful time at the house, everything was absolutely perfect! we were welcomed with fresh flowers and an immaculately presented property which worked great for our group. The photos online do not do this place justice. We arrived to an exceptionally clean and tidy place that was just amazing for our short stay. Close to the supermarket and town centre we found it easy to get around. I would highly recomend this house to anyone.

Great Spot for Family
This was our last stop before leaving New Zealand and it was perfect for our family of four. The place was spacious, clean, comfortable and convenient! Our host was an excellent communicator and the whole visit went smoothly. I would definitely recommend!

This house is welcoming and was spacious enough for 5 adults. The kitchen is well appointed and we were spoiled by the addition of Christmas decorations. Coffee shop within walking distance, good location although it is easier with a car than relying on public transport.

Very nice!
Overall a good property. Its an older house but has been renovated to an above average standard. Beds are a little of the uncomfortable size so could do with an upgrade and probably the only negative of the property was the shower, temperature was impossible to get right and the pressure was only just enough to get you wet. Soa couple of easy fixes would have this property an easy 5 star every time.

Amazing VRBO in Dunedin
We had an amazing stay at Kathryn's place in Dunedin during the Women's World Cup 2023! The house was huge, offering plenty of space and storage for all our large group. The fully stocked kitchen was a huge plus and made cooking a breeze. The location couldn't have been better – just minutes away from town yet nestled in a peaceful and quiet area. Best of all the views from inside the house were breathtaking, and they only got better from the patio and backyard. We spent each morning and afternoon soaking in the scenic beauty and relaxing on the patio. Kathryn was an excellent host, whose kindness, generosity, and communiction left a lasting impression. We can't wait to return to this VRBO. Highly recommended!
