Classic Kiwi Bach with a modern touch

Warm and comfortable, the bach is well insulated, well heated and has a modern kitchen. A major renovation in July 2024 added a second bathroom and upgraded the existing bathroom. You're only 2 minutes walk from one of New Zealand's most beautiful beaches and a 15 minute drive from central Dunedin.

We are pet friendly and the property is well fenced so your dog will be safe to roam around the lawn.

Ocean View beach is one of Dunedin's best kept secrets. We lived in Dunedin for 14 years before we discovered it in 2004 and we've lived here ever since. Seven kilometres of beautiful white sand just 15 minutes drive from the centre of Dunedin. The weather is usually better than in the city with average temperature about 2 degrees warmer. The beach is often fairly deserted so don't be surprised if you're the only human in sight. If you're lucky, you might get to meet some other visitors as we often see sea lions on the beach and fur seals and penguins on the rocks near Brighton.

We had a lovely time in Dunedin with this place as our base. It’s 18 mins from the city centre, and a 3 minute walk to a beautiful beach. The house was super comfortable, and had everything we needed.

The property is small but very cute and comfortable. There are plenty of amenities and 2 heat pumps keep it very nice and warm . Great location with wonderful beach very nearby and a short hop to the spectacular tunnel beach . Very close to Dunedin Brilliant!

Wish it was closer to home.
What an absolutely treat! An amazing getaway. The house was so incredibly well set up and comfortable, we couldn't have wanted for more and the best part we could take our fur baby also. I'd highly recommend this to anyone, you won't regret booking the Bach.

Arrived late to find the lights on and a warm inviting house. Fantastic location between the airport and the city. Friendly hosts who checked on us in the morning, made us feel welcome and assured us to ask if we needed anything at all. We had a wonderful stay and I highly recommend this place to stay.
