The Wee Hoose has comfortable living accommodation, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. Ruthwell is just off the B724, known locally as The Low Road, between Annan (6.5 miles) and Dumfries (11 miles). Further afield there is Gretna Green and the M6 (17 miles) and Carlisle (27 miles)
Arrive in the lovely rural village of Ruthwell and park in the driveway of the cottage, where there is a dedicated parking space just for guests. On entry, you will be greeted by the charming, light & bright kitchen along with the open plan dining & sitting area. Cosy but spacious, the sitting room is great for a night in front of the TV after a fun filled day exploring the area, or for a family games night. Enjoy an evening glass of wine (or morning coffee) in the garden with views to the beautiful countryside beyond. You may well spot deer, pheasant or hare in the adjacent fields and will certainly see a variety of wild birds. The master bedroom is beautifully presented with a super comfortable double bed and plenty of storage space. Bedroom 2 has bunk beds which are always a huge hit with the little ones! A modern bathroom with both bath & shower means both a quick shower in the morning or long soak after a day packed with activities is possible. Outside there is a nice patio with a picnic area and guests are welcome to enjoy the lovely one-acre garden. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance.
Bed linen, towels and toiletries are provided and there is a flat-screen TV with freeview and smart apps. There is free WiFi and free private parking.

Your hosts, Will & Val are a retired couple who used to run a busy seaside B&B and have retired into the countryside. The Wee Hoose is self catering accommodation and they will respect that you wish to be left alone to enjoy the tranquility of the countryside. Peaceful local lanes make travelling a pleasure, so you can travel distances from the cottage in ease, returning at the end of the day to a warm, cosy space, well-equipped for all your everyday needs.
