Duluth North Shore Cabin Rental--Renovated inside and outside in August’24!

New updates in 2024!
Brand new purple mattress in master bedroom! A concrete walkway has been added to the front entrance!
The outside of the house has been newly painted and new light fixtures (updated photos on listing as of August’24) We have added an indoor sauna connected to the bar area, outdoor propane fireplace, new outdoor fire pit area with more seating and bigger space, all new furniture in living room, and bedrooms. New deck furniture which makes enjoys the peace and quiet. Master bedroom now has a tv as well as both living rooms. We have built out the sauna room and created a bar area with a tv and dart alley to play darts. The kitchen now has a brand new Keurig with the option to make pots of coffee, an ice maker, air fryer, drink fridge and many more new appliances for all to use. New high speed internet!

In the kitchen and bathroom, we have bought all new pots and pans, provide keurig cups for your stay, provide roll of paper towels and toilet paper for all bathrooms.


We have a high chair provided for babies/toddlers free of charge!

Nestled on a private wooded setting minutes from Duluth and Lake Superior. This cabin is nestled on a private wooded setting with pine, fir, birch and maple woods. The Talmadge River runs through the property and leads to private waterfalls. Getting to the waterfalls requires a decent hike but it can be done! Watch native birds eat out of the bird feeder and deer eat from the wildlife food plot right from the cabin.

Girls weekend away
We stayed during memorial weekend! The house was amazing! It had everything we needed and more! If you want to cook all the pots/pan and all the cooking supplies you need. The beds were super comfortable! The host was attentive! We will stay again! Highly recommend staying here!

We liked the quiet spot in the woods which was a nice location to Duluth and North Shore activities. The kids loved sleeping in the loft. We hiked through the woods and found the little waterfalls right from the property. We even got to see a bear on our last night. The property had everything we needed.

This was a great looking place—new sauna and bar area in the downstairs, nice work done in the upstairs living room area. It was mostly clean with just one area that the roomba couldn’t reach and a laundry basket with dirty linens left in one of the bedrooms. The main issue that we had was with the very uncomfortable beds.

Short trip in the Duluth area
Nice space. Quiet property. Great for our family of 11. Loved most everything, but I would simply say a deep clean of the property is in order. Refrigerator, coffee maker, ice maker, bathrooms. My husband actually cleaned the ice maker & coffee maker as best as he could. I would also recommend folks bring bottled water for some things (drinking, coffee) as the tap water is a bit off.

great family vacation
Our grandkids loved the "mansion" as one grandson called it. There was lots of room for all of us. It rained a few of the days we stayed, but we were cozy inside making lasagna and playing card games.

This house was a perfect location for my family! We were able to fit plenty of cousins/aunts/uncles and enjoyed using the kitchen to prepare food. The house was clean and fresh, and well-stocked. Host was very kind and helpful, and easy to communicate with.

My family had a great experience at this wonderful home just outside of Duluth. Easy access to the North Shore. All the amenities you could ask for a home up North. Highly recommend this home if you have a large family or friend group!

Wonderful place for our vacay!
This house is beautiful! Surrounded by trees, you can start your morning out on the spacious deck listening to birds while you plan your day! Plenty of room for a large group. Sauna, bar, darts alley, what else do you need? Communication with owner was quick and easy! Will definitely be staying there again!

Awesome Stay!
We had a great time at this Vrbo and it was plenty of room for 11 young adults. I would for sure go back and stay at this house. I loved how it was out of the way and you could wake up to the sounds and smell of nature all around us. The kitchen had plenty of supplies for the food we were making and it was super nice to be able to cook at home. It was Great!

Great location and amenities for three generations
Your location worked out great for a family week on the North Shore: grandmother (and step-grandpa for a day), two daughters (and their partners for part of the week) plus 5 grandboys ranging in age from 6 - 13. The sleeping arrangements were flexible and fun; fantastic kitchen setup (we did a LOT of cooking); and we enjoyed the deck, large yard to run around in, back porch for game night, and the downstairs bar area for a dance party the last night ;-> We would stay again!

Great property!
Great property! We brought together several families and although the kitchen area was cooked outside on the fire pit and enjoyed the huge wrap-around deck. Owner was accommodating and pleasant to work with. We will be coming back!

Nice place to stay. No AC ,glad it was a cooler weekend but lots of box fan’s & ceiling fans. I think the propane fire pit was out of propane but we just lit a fire in the wood fire pit for the kids to have their smores!!

40th Wedding Anniversary
The property and the cabin were awesome! We had plenty of room for our kids and grandkids. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. It was a short commute to Duluth for activities during the day. Campfires amd game nights at the cabin were a great way to spend quality time with our family. It was a wonderful vacation!
