"We had visited with family and friends aged 13 to 65. The overall experience was great. The common facilities were clean and well maintained. The most fascinating part was the scenic beauty around the hostel. Enjoyed the sunrise over the lake with a cup of tea in front of the hostel. The location is also very convenient for visiting the Highlands."

"We had a lovely stay at Knoydart Cottage, the cottage itself is very homely and the view is spectacular. The kids had a ball exploring the garden, although we encountered a few ticks, so do keep an eye out. The convenience of the Duisdale Hotel literally being next door was great for the nights we couldn't be bothered cooking dinner. A beautiful part of Skye, Armadale Castle down the road is also a must see, fabulous play area for the kids. Highly recommend 👌"

"The property was quaint and as expected from other reviews and the listing details. It felt rather damp but there were electric fan heaters in each room which quickly warmed the place up. The Wi-Fi kept going off and we were unable to make the tv work but that wasn’t an issue as we were only there for two nights."
