"We weren't there long enough to take advantage of some of the amenity 'extras' -- e.g., hot tub. But the room was fine, the view excellent, and the breakfast lovely. Our hostess was very gracious. Unfortunately, we arrived after dark, and the lack of lighting on the address made it a bit difficult to find the place. Lesson: Don't arrive after dark! "

"Took the top 2 story suite. It requires walking up 6 flights of stairs but once there its a fabulous suite loaded with thoughful extra like coffee, cream and toothbrushes! "Wonderful, quiet location in a charming neighborhood. 30 minutes by tram to the Altstadt. Short walk to a lovely beer garden and ferry to the Pillnitzer Castle. We also loved cycling along the Elbe. For some reason, the access code was sent through Expedia instead of Hotels.com, so you might need to call the hostess before arrival to meet you. She was very gracious and the breakfast was a delight. A wonderful place to experience Dresden in a peaceful, clean, and comfortable environment!"

"Wir waren mit 6Personen über Silvester in der Wachbergbaude. Es war urgemütlich, wie man es von einer Baude erwartet und das Personal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.
