Cozy Cedar Mountain Cabin near lakes and National Parks
I’ve owned this little cabin for 20 years and want everyone to be able to share in the beauty that is southern Utah! Located in the mountains at 9000 ft, it is between Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon, and is a short 15 minute drive from Cedar Breaks National Monument. There are also several lakes for fishing very close to the cabin, as well as many great hikes nearby. You will have all modern amenities, and your own unshared space with a large deck for relaxing and viewing wildlife. It is some of the most beautiful land on earth. It sits on half an acre of beautiful, tree covered land with a fire pit area for outdoor cooking and relaxing in the evening. The national forest land is one street over and offers great atv trails or hiking. Atvs are available for rent in the village 2 minutes away below the cabin.

Very comfortable, clean, and cozy. Can’t beat the price for the location! The host was very responsive and so accommodating. Highly recommend and will be coming back!

We felt the cabin was cozy and met our needs. The Cabin is small but we were generally out of the cabin by 9am and returned at the earliest by 7pm. Loved the outdoor fire pit, unfortunately we did not utilize as we would have liked due to our daily excursions!
This little quaint cabin met out needs perfectly. It is small and cute. The patio was perfect to sit out and enjoy the quiet neighborhood. The location is close to town, yet feels like you are out in nature when you are there. We had fun exploring the area, and photo
We had a wonderful time in this cabin and especially enjoyed playing games on the large front porch! It’s halfway between Zion and Bryce. We highly recommend this cozy cabin in a beautiful area.
We enjoyed a quick get away with family to a lovely location. This listing provided our family with a cozy respite after spending time out hiking and caving.
Perfect for our family. We loved the fire pit and front porch. The activities at the cabin were fun and we were able to cook fabulous meals using the kitchen area. Delightful get away!
First two days just sat out on the porch and listened to the rain and wildlife was fantastic. Went to Bryce Canyon on the third day. Loved the cabin it was so warm and welcoming. Me and my wife loved being there.
My husband and I had a great time staying at the cabin. The place was very clean and the surroundings were beautiful. It was exactly what we needed to get away from the city life. We are looking forward to go back. :)
This place was so cozy & had lots of wonderful accommodation! The host was very friendly and responded quickly! It’s located near so many atractions & even if you plan to stay at the cabin for your stay there’s lots of activities that our host provided us with as well! We had such an amazing time <3 I brought my 1 yr old with me aswell and it was safe in the cabin for her to crawl around aswell which was a plus :)
Wish we could say we loved the place, but we were never able to access it. Snow was incredibly deep and road snow-covered. We followed the winter access instructions but were unable to climb the hill with our rental car. We got stuck on the hill and then were finally able to back down the hill. Husband tried to access the cabin via walking. However, he returned to the car and said it was too far and too cold (17 degrees F). Wish we had taken pictures of just how deep the snow was (even though it was at night). Gave up and went back to Cedar City for the night. Contacted owner who stated that others had been in and out without issue. When we left, there was a 4wd truck with tire chains on coming into the neighborhood. Gas station has big sign about selling tire chains. Obviously, the mention of a 4wd as helpful should be stated as a requirement for the time of year (March into April). We opted not to return to the village to make yet another attempt. We are certainly not wimps (live on a farm and have driven in snow for most of our lives) but there wasn't any way to access the cabin. Called VRBO and they told us that they would contact the owner and contact us again. That did not happen. Contacted the owner again to ask about some form or reimbursement but that request was never answered or was ignored. We understand the cancellation policy, but this was beyond our control (and, quite honestly, a safety hazard) and the least that could have been done would be to have returned the cleaning fee since the cabin did not need to be cleaned since we never accessed it. This is the first time we have had an issue with a VRBO (have used them for many years) and has given us doubts as to whether to continue to use VRBO. Not only did we lose the cost of the rental, but over $100 worth of food we had bought to take to the cabin, and the cost of a place to stay every one of the four nights we were supposed to stay at this cabin (and having to eat at restaurants instead of cooking our own food). This was a HUGE disappointment, and a costly venture to say the least. Would NOT recommend this place if there is even remotely any chance of snow on the ground (plowed snow was probably at least 6 to 8 feet high or higher alongside the roads)!
