Lovely Terrace, Perfect Location: 3 Minute Walk to Old Town and Beach

This charming historic apartment with shaded terrace is located just three minutes walk from the Old Town gate and Dubrovnik's most popular beach, in a quiet residential neighborhood near shops and restaurants. Master bedroom plus adjacent sleeping area provides spacious accommodation for a couple, a group of friends, or a family with children. Air conditioning, wifi, washing machine and brand new kitchenette.

This authentic Dubrovnik family home features open stone work, mosaic tile floors and other artistic touches throughout. The master bedroom upstairs features original antique wood furniture, a king sized bed and views of the Old Town, Lokrum Island and the Adriatic Sea. The adjacent second bedroom features one standard single bed, and a second comfortable fold out single.

The kitchenette includes 2-burner stove top, sink, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, electric kettle, coffee maker and microwave. The apartment stays comfortably cool in summer with two air conditioning units. Reserved off site parking is available upon request. Parking MUST BE RESERVED IN ADVANCE.

The apartment is located within easy walking distance from all Dubrovnik’s most popular attractions, shops, markets, bakery, restaurants and bus lines.

Bedrooms are located on the upper floor, accessed by a staircase. The stairs are very sturdy, but a bit steep. Therefore, this apartment is not recommended for guests with limited mobility. The second bedroom is an open room at the top of the staircase.

Beautiful historic apartment close to the city!
Couldn’t ask for a better location! Close to old town and swimming. Sleeps 4 comfortably and has a beautiful patio for relaxing. Our hosts were very kind and helpful!

We enjoyed our short stay, and liked being close to a city gait without being in the middle of such a busy city. Comfortable apartment. Not for those with mobility issues as the stairs to the bedrooms are very steep and narrow.

Comfortable apartment in a great location
My husband and I stayed at this VRBO. We enjoyed the home as a place to relax (great terrace and views). It was very convenient for walking to old town and to the beach. The washing machine was also very convenient and easy to use. Rebecca was communicative and even organized transportation from the airport to the apartment. Thanks, Rebecca!

Amazing locaiton
This property was exactly as advertised. The location is perfect for getting to the cable car, Old Town, walking tours, beach, restaurants, etc. It is very small and the stairs are steep (as shown), but it is very comfortable and it was plenty of space for us - 2 adults, 2 teens. Rebecca was always fast to respond to questions. We enjoyed our time there!

Pros: Excellent location, nice terrace, professional and helpful owners, excellent communication and service Can be improved: More bins e.g. in bathroom, living area and upstairs; the floor was cold and didn't have carpet, so best to bring a pair of slippers, more comfortable sitting like sofa and cushions would be welcome, the terrace chairs are made of iron or cement and hurt a bit :))

Nice but basic!
The hosts were lovely & great with communicating & accommodating us. The accommodation was in a fantastic location just few mins walk (& steps!) from the old city walls. The accommodation itself was clean but pretty rustic & basic. The outdoor spaces was lovely! The main bedroom was good but the ‘second’ bedroom was really in the hallway to the main bedroom with pretty small beds. The stairs to the bedrooms was no more than a wooden set of steps & not good for the faint hearted!! Overall it was clean but basic!

Great location near Old Town
This is a very cute place in a wonderful location. Can walk to old town in just a few minutes. Has a nice outdoor seating area with a view of the Adriatic. We enjoyed sitting out here but did get a lot of bug bites. Place has a very tiny kitchen which was not an issue for us but would be hard to do much cooking.. The hosts were wonderful about communicating with us and check in process was very smooth. Finally, it has a very steep staircase to the bedrooms. Again, not a big deal of us but could be hard for someone with mobility or balance issues. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Location
Rebecca is an amazing host. She contacted us in advance of our arrival in Dubrovnik to schedule a time to meet us at the apartment. She also set up a shuttle service for us that made the transfer from the airport to her apartment a breeze. This is a wonderful apartment with great character and history. You can’t beat the location as it just a minute or two from the entrance to the old town. It’s close enough to be convenient and yet far enough from the crowded old town to be quieter and more relaxing. We walked to the bakery in the morning and then enjoyed breakfast on the deck. The apartment is comfortable and furnished with everything you need. Rebecca recommended Lady Pi-Pi for dinner and it was a great recommendation. Overall we had an amazing time staying here and we will definitely be back!

Wonderful apartment, close to everything
Our family of 5 (including 3 kids aged 13, 11 and 7) loved our stay at Rebecca's apartment. It has a lot of charm, and is steps from everything (the beach, the gate to the old town, a small grocery store, a bakery, a reasonably priced sandwich shop). Although the apartment is not large, we did not feel cramped in the space. The patio was an added bonus, and we found it to be a very compelling place to read, eat breakfast/lunch and have evening drinks. The beds, including the couch and the fold out beds at the top of the staircase, were all very comfortable. My kids appreciated the strong WiFi. Rebecca and Vido were very helpful throughout the planning process and after we arrived. When the washing machine stopped working, Vido was there within the hour looking into it. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We would return without hesitation.

Perfect for couple getaway
Great location close to old town. Plenty of space for a couple in this historic apartment. As noted on the property description the stairs are steep and non standard so one would want to be fit enough to climb them..or use the futon downstairs in livingroom. Bathroom is downstairs. Any issues or questions we had were dealt with very promptly by the host.

Wonderful location; charming home
Loved this stay. Building is small but very comfortable and we had no problem cooking in the kitchen. Stairs up to bedroom require care but good handrails help. Home is charming and family owned for over 150 years. Location is superb. Very close to Old Town, grocery, and airport shuttle. Host responded quickly to any messages. Would choose this location again.

Step up to Dubrovnik
Loved the location, history of the city and the apartment. Original floors, photos and antiques gave the apartment a homey touch. Ferry and Bus transportation a short walk. We loved being able to access the old city so easily and to walk down and watch the boats in the harbour. We had a great time !

Historic apartment near Old Town Dubrovnik! The patio was a wonderful place to spend enjoying the view! The short walk to Old Town, restaurants, and grocery were incredibly convenient! The host, Rebecca, was easy to reach with questions and very accommodating! Would absolutely recommend!

Die Wohnung ist ideal gelegen, um mit der Familie Dubrovnik zu erkunden
Gerade wenn man nicht den ganzen Tag unterwegs sein will, sondern sich zwischendurch auch mal erholen will oder sich zwischen Sightseeing und Strand umziehen will, ist die Lage perfekt. Frühstück und Mittagssnack kann man in der kleinen Küche gut zubereiten (und kühlen!) Und auf der romantischen Terrasse genießen. Lebensmittelgeschäfte und Bäckereien gibt es in der nahen Umgebung genauso wie Restaurants für den Abend. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und in beiden Stockwerken gibt es ein Klimagerät. Was will man mehr?
