This newly renovated 2BR/1BA studio cabin offers everything you need or want in a small, cozy package. Retreat just 10 minutes from downtown Dubois, tucked in along the Wind River on the secluded edge of the Wind River Indian Reservation and backed up against the stunning red cliffs that lead into the Badlands. You'll forget about the world when you step onto this property and enjoy some of the best fly fishing imaginable - the Wind is world-renowned for its trout (brown, rainbow, and cutthroat) and this property has gone untouched for decades! It's under new ownership and has been renovated for rentals. If you're not an angler, you'll appreciate the escape this cabin offers; stay tucked into the cozy hideout and enjoy the views of the river, the Wind River and Absaroka Mountain ranges, and the abundant wildlife. The surrounding lands are home to the nation's largest Bighorn Sheep herd, plus whitetail and mule deer, antelope, and moose frequenting the area! Loved this property! Went for a family vacation to Wyoming and so glad we found this property. Perfect size for a family of 4, all the things we needed were here, and made lots of great memories. Waking up to the Wind River was beautiful. Would love to stay here again if we'd ever make it back out there.

Heaven!
Where do I start? The most peaceful days I’ve had in forever! I got a great mental health restart!! The river needs to be seen and listened to for you to understand!! Ree is amazing and the cabin has everything you need! I didn’t even use the king size bed attached!! Just a few minutes to Cowboy Cafe and Moose Outpost(great turkey burger)!

Easy to find but middle of nowhere.
We were visiting Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. This property is a long drive from both. Nice and clean property. Ree was great at communicating with us. This cabin is tucked down away from the road right next to the river. The add on cabin was a great addition with a family of teenagers. It gave some much needed time alone space. Just wish it would have had a TV.

So cute and remote!
Although we had a difficult time finding the cabin (drove around town for over an hour!) We were pleasantly surprised once we got there. The water seems to be pretty high with sulfur, but there is a Brita to filter your drinking water. Be sure to look out for a red wooden canoe labeled "Red Rocks"...that is actually where you will want to turn to find the cabin. It is tucked away down by the river (you can't see it from the road) and If you put the address in your GPS it will not bring you anywhere near the cabin. It has everything you could need once you get there!

Red Rock location is in some of the most beautiful country I have ever seen.
Great vacation for our first time out west. The river and cliffs in the back yard are breathtaking, and cabin was great. Rustic and serviceable but that's what we wanted. It's location is perfect for exploring. Some of the best sights are right in the area. If you go, check out The 25mile dirt road to two brothers cabin campsite, ask in Dubois, we did it in a dodge charger, road good. Breathtaking views at every turn. BRING BEAR SPRAY on these trips! Brooks lake is another ride about 30 minutes away, about 5 miles of dirt. Yellowstone about 1.5 hours away. We crossed continental divide about 18 times in 7 days. Don't miss Jenny lake at the base of the Tetons. We stayed at cabin every other day to rest and enjoy, it was one of the prettiest places we saw. I would recommend this cabin to anyone that loves the outdoors. Fly fishing is great everywhere in the area. I caught trout right in back yard. I think I took 2000 pictures. There are a few places to eat in Dubois. If you want bars and restaurants stay in Jackson . My wife and I agree this was one of our best vacations ever.

Cute, and so relaxing. Outdoor seating was great. Inside everything worked, well stocked with supplies. Bedding was so comfortable! Decorated nicely. Ree called to let us know to treat the place like it was ours, made sure we had the code. Very nice lady.

Peaceful Getaway
Ree was a terrific host!! She was concerned about us even though her own house was in the way of the forest fire!! It was a peaceful getaway! Right next to the wind river, perfect location to go to Grand Tetons and Yellowstone National Park! Highly recommend to anyone thinking of going!!

River Cabin
The setting of the cabin was phenomenal - on the river and next to the red cliffs. It was private and peaceful. A great place to unwind and relax. My husband even had the pleasure of catching fish in the Wind River right from the beach in front of the cabin. Don’t miss the National Military Vehicle Museum. It was definitely worth the visit.

Paradise on the wind river
It’s hidden off the highway, perfectly secluded. The cabin is perfect, although the dryer didn’t work, we had a little mouse friend who got into our bread. Overall it was a beautiful place to regenerize. Thank you for sharing your home

Peace and beauty on the river
We loved our 4 days on the Wind River. From morning sunrises to listening to the River at night , we felt comfortable…the cabin had all we needed from the kitchen to the lovely new sleeping quarters. The directions to arrive and check in were perfect. The wifi was great too. The setting is amazing with the red cliffs nearby and two chairs by the river for watching the swallows. So much to see and do in the area…
