NOTE: Beginning September 16, 2024, The Treasure Lake water level will be lowered by 10' for dredging. Dredging is planned to be completed by April 2025. The timing for the lake to return to normal levels will be dependent on the amount of rainfall so the lake may not be at full capacity through the summer of 2025.

8 Pool/Beach passes are provided for access to the Lakeview Lodge Pool which is open to guests Monday - Thursday from Memorial day to Labor day. Lakeview Lodge is a 5 minute walk from the house. A guest pass is not required for children under 2. The Lakeview Lodge pool is reserved for property owners Fri-Sun and on holidays.
The Pool/Beach passes may be used every day at the Treasure Lake main beach (New Providence Beach)

Guests may also wish to visit the large Dubois city pool or nearby Parker Dam State Park while lake levels are low in 2025. See their websites for details.

MId June - August: 7-night minimum stay with Saturday Check in / check out .

2-night minimum stay at other times.

* Strict No Pet Policy. Due to a family member with severe allergies, the home is strictly an animal-free zone.
* No Smoking permitted in the house.

* To protect against invasive species, no outside boats, powered or non-powered, are allowed in Treasure Lake. 2 kayaks and a paddle boat, are available for use at the house and additional kayaks, paddle boats and row boats may be rented at the marina through Labor Day.

* The Jet Skis are not available for use.

* A $89 fee for a $3,000 Damage Protection Policy is required and is automatically added at time of booking.

Beautiful House and Property
The house was immaculate and included everything for a comfortable stay including extras like kitchen supplies, nice bathroom towels, games, kayaks and firewood. The view from the covered deck is majestic and we saw lots of wildlife on the property. The owner, John, was accommodating and quick to respond to questions. We would love to spend another weekend here.

January Getaway
As usual John was a great host and the house was a perfect jump stop for the activity we planned. Plenty of beds, the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and the owners were quick to answer my text when we had a simple question. We have stayed there many times and are already planning to use this house again!

As in a past stay the home was perfect as far as accommodations as well as a jumping point for our "GUYS" getaway.......and as usual the Hosts were a pleasure to work with....definitely on our radar for any future visits to the area

Fantastic Stay
The house was recently updated, the bathrooms and bedrooms were great, the open floor plan of the common areas (kitchen, dining room, living room) is great for groups. This is one of the nicest VRBO rentals we have ever stayed in, and we would stay here again in a heartbeat. Our only suggestion would be to include more beds, however, the basement is very large and can accommodate air mattresses if needed. Thanks for a great stay!

Very nice property
We found this property to be all it was advertised to be, our every expectation was met. The owner was more than helpful. We had a disparate group of 6 adults and 2 small children, all of whom enjoyed the stay. We were hoping for snow during our stay and were lucky that happened which was the frosting on our weekend. We would strongly recommend this property to others.

Wonderful Family Christmas weekend
This house was the perfect place for our family to make great memories and continue our weekend family Christmas. We travel up from SC to spend this weekend with our children and grandchildren. Great Lake House
We had a fantastic stay with friends for a week on the lake. The house was clean and owner attentive to any possible issues. Great location for the kids to swim and paddle around on the kayaks and paddle boat. We enjoyed fires in the evening and relaxing on the large deck during the day.

Lovely 4th of July
We had a great stay in this lovely home. The covered porch was perfect for rainy days and the kids loved the basement. The fireworks were amazing! We’ll be back!

The house was perfect! It was even bigger than it looks from the outside and from the pictures. The kitchen was well stocked, and everything was very clean! We had so much fun!!!

Having 2 refrigerators was a plus for our group of 12. Pictures shown are accurate. Prompt responses from owner. There were 2 issues I left the owner know I would be posting about in my review. One of the bedrooms doesn't have drapes/blinds/room darkening film, etc.. The other was the oven didn't work, plan on meals in a crockpot.

John is the best
The communication and assistance with the host, John Truxal, was above and beyond! The house was spotlessly clean, perfectly appointed with kitchen items, bathroom towels and more. Better than expected!!! Thank you, John, for a more than perfect "venue" for Pop's 90th birthday weekend! He said that this was the best birthday party of his life - small and personal.

Family Vacation by the Lake
The whole family enjoyed the week in the house by Treasure Lake. They had fun fishing, kayaking, and swimming in the lake. The owner was very responsive to some minor issues that we had. We would definitely stay there again and in fact we did stay there previously, 2 years ago.

Family Reunion
The home fit our family perfectly, we all had enough bedrooms and bathrooms to enjoy our time together. Very comfortable, clean and location close to front gate. Kayaks and pedal boat were used by all. Very happy with owners response to an issue that needed attention.

Really nice relaxing place. We had a problem with the renters before us, left the trash cans full so it was infested with maggots. Other than that the place was well equipped, and clean. Enjoyable week.

Great family getaway!
This house was perfect for our family getaway. Each family had their own private quarters for sleeping and their own bathroom. There were 13 of us and we were all comfortable. There is plenty of seating and plenty of things to do. It’s a great neighborhood to take a walk. The kitchen is very well stocked. The house is clean and well cared for. Even more important; John is very accessible. He promptly answered questions before, during and after our stay. I would definitely rent this home again.

Awesome stay on Treasure Lake!
The lake house was all that we (3 families…6 adults/6 teens) could want and more! Very spacious house and great set-up. We purposely chose this house because each adult couple could have their own bathroom and then the kids could have bathrooms also. Great views from the expansive deck and fire pit. Very thoughtful amenities (keurig machine, hair dryers, motion sensor outdoor lights, dishes, silverware etc) throughout. The host was very responsive throughout the entire booking/pre-trip process. Despite being there to witness a Penn State loss 😭, the house more than made up for our disappointment while in Happy Valley (about an hour away).

Family Fun on the Lake
My family of 14 (ages 12 to 68) had a wonderful 1 week stay this July! We walked into a beautifully, clean home. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax, chat, play games, read, watch TV, eat and entertain. The view of the inlet on the lake is beautiful. We enjoyed quiet mornings with coffee, watching the deer, chipmunks, birds, ducks, and squirrels. Everyone benefited from the paddle boat and kayaks and used them multiple times a day. There was plenty of cabinet space in the kitchen full of all of the housewares you need to cook and serve meals. There’s even an extra full sized fridge downstairs! John, the owner, is by far the best! Anytime there was an issue (slow Wi-Fi and a broken coffeemaker), he responded IMMEDIATELY and took care of it. He even would check in to see if there was any other issues and ensure we are enjoying our stay. We are already trying to decide when we can all come back again!
