"Linda and Jon were great and very responsive hosts. The cabin had everything you'd expect for a rural setting. The evenings were super quiet and the skies were super dark. The cabin was very warm and cozy for our winter stay. Perfect for a getaway for 2. The recent ice and snowstorms provided for some stunning landscape views. We'll definitely consider booking again when we come back to the area."

"Appreciate having fire wood available to make use of the fire pit. Good location, quiet, private and close to wineries and restaurants."

"It was a nice quiet getaway. Loved the privacy. Very clean and accommodating. Feeding the many turtles in the pond was a very nice unexpected surprise. Hot tub was great but for me a little strong on the chemicals. The husband and I will definitely stay again."

"We have been renting vacation properties for 25 years, including all over the So IL/Shawnee area, and this cabin, and its location, is by far our favorite in the area! Allison is WONDERFUL and worked w our needs for our stay (we had to make last minute reservations to attend funeral services). Gorgeous home, gorgeous property, even better owners. "Perfect but beware if you are a sensitive sleeper as the mattress on the queen bed is saggy and in need of replacing. Probably fine for 1 person but 2 people easily roll into the middle making for a not-so-good night's sleep."

"Cleanliness was immaculately EXCELLENT!! Decor was adorable & fresh. All appliances & necesscities that you can imagine & in good quality. Host was EXCELLENT with communication & very considerate. Only needed a place since we were passing through for the night, but the EXCELLENT location, facility & ease of process has made us consider returning just so we can have a mini vacay there & really enjoy the property."

"My boyfriend and I stayed 3 nights here, and didnt want to leave! From the high ceilings to the exposed brick on the walls it was easy to fall in love with this place! It was private and perfect. If we're ever back in this area we know where we're staying! We highly recommend to everyone. You won't be disappointed! "
