I stayed while walking the WHW and highly recommend. The room was very comfortable and well equipped. They provided a lovely breakfast in the morning as well!
Lovely peaceful location. Beautiful home, clean and welcoming. Comfortable spacious room. Breakfast superb. Local pubs and good evening meals within short walking distance. Local walks.
Lovely hosts, luxurious accommodations, delicious food, and beautiful surroundings - this little haven is a complete delight and I would absolutely love to stay here again sometime. Very highly recommend!!
Received a very warm welcome on arrival and lots of useful local information.
Room was very well presented and comfortable.
Breakfast menu was comprehensive and very tasty.
Would readily recommend Glenlaird for your next stay in the area.
Everything was perfect. The host family were lovely people. Very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing and the view from the property was awesome. We really enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend them.
We had an amazing stay!
The entire atmosphere of the house and surroundings was so relaxing!
The host is very nice and friendly. The breakfasts are amazing.
The house is big and the rooms are clean. The house is located a few minutes away from Drymen town where you can find a few restaurants.
Totally recommend staying here!
This was an extraordinary property, a true find. James and his family made our stay a pleasure. The room was extremely comfortable, the breakfast outstanding. James was very easy to talk with, with a great sense of humor and very helpful in suggesting local attractions. The house and yard were gorgeous. We felt pampered. I wished I'd been able to stay longer.
Overall it was a lovely property. Quiet, clean, very comfortable.
Hosts were very accommodating and made us some fridge space.
It would have been nice to be instructed a bit more regarding use of outdoor space. There was a key in the door leading to outside, and the door was very difficult to open and would lock on us if closed.
Breakfast was excellent.
I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again but would ask more questions at check in!
A beautifully designed property, modern, exceptionally clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast and nothing was too much trouble. Our hosts went above and beyond to help us when we had a problem with our car. Liked the little touches, like the drinks fridge and snacks basket. Only a few minutes walk to the village with plenty of restaurants and a shop.
What a wonderful B&B! James is so welcoming and knowlegable we wished we could have stayed and chatted longer. Svetlana has seen to every comfort, the rooms were immaculately clean, the bed comfortably cozy, and a nicely hot shower. Oh, and those fresh baked s'more cookies in our room - positively scrumptious! Svetlana also makes a delicious breakfast which we immensely enjoyed while watching the ducks on the pond. The walk into Drymen is short, and you'll find good pubs, pints and friendly folk but know that if you want dinner, make reservations! (That's pretty much true anywhere in Scotland outside of big cities.) It was a real pleasure to make your acquaintance, James and Svetlana, and we hope to be back to Glenlaird B&B!
