The bed was comfy, bedding was soft and warm, and the bathroom was well stocked. I would highly recommend this cottage in a very adorable village. "A wonderful hotel room. Very spacious with good facilities and on the ground floor (there’s no lift). The onsite restaurant is good, which is essential as the hotel is 7km from the nearest town (Cromwell). The lake makes a nice backdrop and a good place to walk."

"Great historic place that has a real cachet. Really nice hosts. Quiet, comfy and clean (even with a room that has the shared bathroom option). Small continental breakfast was included. Good option for someone looking to avoid the really expensive accomodations in QT (it's at about 1h15min by car)."

"This place has a great location and lovely hosts. The rooms are spacious and facilities excellent. There is an issue with the shower where the water pools by the toilet however the owners are aware if it and actively doing something about it. Would definitely stay here again. "

The house was built by the family so it really had a family charm to it. Steve came by and chatted to give us a warm welcome. "
