Romantic Log Cabin Nestled in Wooded Setting on Lake Wilipyro

This charming cabin is perfect for a solitary retreat or a romantic getaway for two. This lovely year-round log cabin is one of seven cabins on eight secluded, wooded acres with 950 feet of frontage on a crystal clear 77 acre Lake Wilipyro. Also surrounded by the Chequamegon National Forest. Your vacation rental includes a canoe. There is an outdoor grill, fire pit and a picnic table. The cabin has a cozy gas fireplace in the living room area to warm you on chilly Northwoods evenings. The romantic cabin for two has a comfortable double bed. Please bring your own personal towels while on vacation. This unique northwoods vacation cabin includes a kitchen with a stove, refrigerator, microwave and utensils. The living room area with fireplace also has two hand-made custom wood rocking chairs for the perfect northwoods experience. Relax and read a book or watch the wildlife. There is a wood-fired sauna on the property that is a separate building from the main cabin. Great for that relaxing vacation getaway experience. Hear the haunting cry of the loons and the lap of the waves at water's edge. There will be an additional room tax fee of 4% added on to each reservation.

Easy and convenient stay while attending an event in Barnes. Quaint, cozy and comfortable, loon calls before sleep, and upon waking. Didn't have time to explore the lake at all, but seemed nice. Would recommend to others.

Great week of fun and relaxation.
My wife and I are repeat renters of "Hemlock Hideaway." We truly enjoy the peace and tranquility this property provides. The natural beauty of the property is a real attraction. The quiet lake is great lake to kayak and the fishing is wonderful. The cabin is well maintained and has everything one needs. The property manager was helpful and friendly. It was an excellent week up north!

Peaceful and beautiful
The hosts and their son were so gracious to us and helped us to keep our plans, even though it was my mistake on the dates of the stay. The cabin is perfect for two. Caught some bass casting off the private pier. The location, even though isolated, is within easy driving distance of Lake Namakagon, Cable, Seeley, and Hayward. We didn’t use the canoe, but still enjoyed beautiful sunsets from the pier. We would give this location our highest recommendation.

This cabin was a perfect cozy getaway for New Years Eve. The wood fired sauna was a perfect way to relax on a cold day. I would recommend this property to others who want a nice way to quietly relax in the north woods.

Much Needed Solitude
This is our second stay and it was as delightful as our first. The cabin is cozy, clean and has all one needs to live comfortably in the woods. A nice sized, quiet lake free from audacious powerboats with a canoe to use launched from a pontoon dock. As they say, "time flies when you are having fun". Sadly, it's back to the big city we must go.

Great Cabin and Experience
The cabin is a very nice small one room open concept with kitchen, dinette, and bedroom all in one room with a gas fireplace that keeps you nice and cozy warm. It also has a full bathroom. Right outside is a grill and fire ring with seating for two and just a few steps away is an awesome sauna hut that has a very nice and large sauna space. Perfect size for two people. Great place to stay right on the lake.

Lovely Cottage
We had a fabulous 5 days on your beautiful lake. Canoeing was a highlight (family of otters, 2 swans and several loons). There was some confusion regarding exactly where the key was hidden and check in time but all easily resolved. A neighbor requested that we park in a different spot due to noise from our car waking him in the morning but we were happy to accommodate. All in all a beautiful stay at a beautiful cabin.

This is a well appointed cabin. We really loved the dock, spent hours enjoying the peaceful lake. The lounges and umbrella are excellent amenities. Perfect weekend but be mindful the bed is a full size.
