"The house was great, had all the comforts of home, a great yard with fig and peach trees, lots of Rose trees, that we have not seen and we are gardeners, a dock to sit on watch the river Le Loir flow, the host was awesome showed us the ins and out, took us to the local supermarket to stock up for our stay."

Il est situé près d'un rond point assez passant, ce qui en rend l'accès aisé, mais force à garder les fenêtres fermées la nuit. Heureusement qu'il y a une climatisation. Le personnel est accueillant et sympathique. Mon seul bémol est la taille des chambres, où il est difficile d'avoir plus qu'une valise de taille cabine ouverte dans la chambre. Comme l'hôtel est à proximité des nombreuses attractions des châteaux de la Loire, il vaut mieux en profiter et ne passer qu'un temps minimum dans les chambres. "

"We had a fantastic week staying at the gite. We were a party of 8 and we had plenty of room - having two separate houses also worked really well for us. The pool is lovely - a great size, clean, heated and in a lovely setting. The location is beautiful, in the grounds of the chateau, and we enjoyed eating at the large table outside under the tree. The hosts were very friendly and helpful - thank you! In terms of eating out, we had a really delicious meal at the restaurant Aux Trois Pastoureaux in Chateaudun which is about 20 mins drive away - would highly recommend. All in all we had an amazing week and would love to go back at some point."

"We had a fantastic week and Aline was very friendly and accomodating. The house was perfect for our family and the kids loved the pool which is all enclosed for safety. The house had plenty of room for large groups like ours and the supermarket was 5 mins drive up the road which was really handy. There is a great patisere in the local town well worth a visit for some lovely fresh cakes. "

"Everything about the place was spot on! The Manager and his wife was delightfully helpful in everything from there local information to the history of the property. Could not do enough for me down to preparing a very early breakfast before leaving for a long drive to Paris Orly Airport. I would visit Le Grand Saint-Mac in Vendôme again."
