A Boutique hostel in trendy Dresden!
I was in the Honeymoon Room!
The room was lovely and exactly as described. I really did feel like a princess! Even though I was on a business trip, I actually booked this hostel 'cos of the excellent wifi and the fact that it wasn't your typical hostel, but quite small. I believe, it didn't have more than 5 rooms, which made it all the more attractive!
There is a lovely communal dining room / fully-equipped kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, microwave, coffee-maker, kettle, etc, and free tea, coffee, sugar and your basic condiments.
The area is hip and attractive, and local transport is ample. The bathroom is shared, but there were two of them and you could lock the door and have it to yourself. It wasn't communal. I think! The WC was separate and was split into male and female only.
The price was great, but you had to rent out towel and bedsheets.
On the other side, although my room was the Honeymoon Room, it could have done with more lighting as the bulbs in the centre of the room weren't working, and I had to rely on the table lamps. The room could also do with some sort of writing table, as the bedside / lamp tables were tiny, and I ended up using the communal dining room instead!
Oh, and be aware that there is a local business opposite the bedroom window, and both sides can be seen quite clearly at night. Especially when changing, so use the blinds!
All in all, a very nice hostel which I would utterly visit again!
