Pictures portray the cottage accurately, furnished very well with modern fittings. The pictures however don't do the outside areas justice, huge, beautiful grounds, was a pleasure waking in the morning to the sun rising through the trees and rabbits playing outside.
There is WiFi in the cottage, which to be honest wasn't the greatest, however we went for a week to get away from it all, so this wasn't an issue. There was no welcome pack on arrival, however given the price and facilities of the cottage this again was no issue, just be aware you'll need your own milk and tea bags for a cuppa when you arrive.
The location of the property is ideal, about 10 mins drive from a large 24 hour Tesco in Dover, and about 20 minutes drive from Canterbury. At Canterbury, we used the New Dover Road park and ride facility, which offered car parking and return bus tickets for up to 6 people for only £3.50 total. Canterbury is beautiful and well worth a visit. Also recommended on a nice day is Folkestone Harbour Arm, lots of lovely eating places with great views. It woukd be criminal also not to visit the White Cliffs, only about 15 min drive from the cottage.
The Marquis of Granby pub is close by, which offers lovely meals, has a beautiful beer garden, and is dog friendly. We walked from the cottage, it took us 18 mins each way, or obviously only a couple of minutes by car.
All in all, a fantastic, beautiful cottage in a perfect location, couldn't recommend highly enough.
