Clean room, great staff
Clean room and bathroom.
Bed uncomfortable.
Food nice and service really good throughout. Poor nights sleep though as party on til 12.30 am and we would have probably chosen another place to stay if we knew that a function was being held so late.
A good place to stay when visiting Dover. Lots of people use it for the port. We used it to visit the castle and Battke of Britain memorial. Parking is a bit tight in the car park so we used the road. Breakfast is good and food options in the evening also good. Room has everything you need and is cosy.
Lovely small friendly hotel. Nice bar area. Rooms are compact, but absolutely pristine everything you need for a comfortable stay. Staff are friendly. Lovely choice of breakfast. Definitely stay again
This is a quaint place. The stairs are a little tricky with luggage but the room was delightful. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was a great stay and we would definitely come back.
What a cozy, unique, and magical place it is. Clean, comfortable, quiet, and easy to find. The staff is super friendly. We absolutely loved it and can’t wait to go back!

Quaint place with pub on ground floor. Would not advise for people with walking issues as the stairs are very steep and steps narrow and uneven.
Lovely small pub/inn. Check in/out was effortless with electronic access. Ideal for us with a couple of small dogs. Wonderful cooked breakfast. Definitely recommend
Really helpful and friendly staff. Prepared me a grab bag for breakfast as had to leave earlier than breakfast was served. My room was a little on the small side but was very beautifully presented. (And would be fine for any one of average hight and build. As I am over 6’5 and of large build.)
Lovely little pub with rooms - idea for a cozier stay in Dover. Expect old world style and rooms - and you won’t be disappointed
But they really need to get new mattresses

Good location
The location is the Hotel's biggest selling point as it is so close to the Dover Castle and the White Cliffs. The room was ok for a "base" but would not recommend it for a long stay. The food served was excellent.

Staff and service was excellent.
Access to room not suitable for aged and infirm.
Very pleasant and helpful, we arrived earlier than the assigned check-in and Heidi was very helpful and let us leave our bags so we could venture out for the afternoon. Highly recommend, and also the pub down stairs.
