"Beautiful cottage with everything you need. Use of grounds and pool. Very friendly, helpful, hosts gave lots of advice on things to do and places to visit and nothing was too much trouble. Enclosed garden to the cottage so our dog could be let off lead. Peaceful location, we had a great stay, thank you Jill and Phil."

"After initially staying for 10 days we then went to the Dordogne for a week. I wish we’d have stayed here the whole time! Still you live and learn. The gite is very clean, well equipped with a lovely modern bathroom and kitchen with plenty of space to park your car. I have to say I’m a bit fussy, bringing my own bedding and towels but I didn’t need them here. The pristine white bedding and towels were changed every 5 days. "This property is a peaceful shangrila. Our hosts Barbara and Kevin couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. The property is an enclosed peace of paradise. After cognac tasting, going to the local farmers market, kayak races and wandering the lovely village of Jarnac we always looked forward to returning to our gite. "We had a wonderful welcome with Valerie and Yves, The gite was very clean and furnished and equipped to the highest standard. The pool was very well kept and available whenever we needed it. The village was very quiet and very well-kept with lots of easy walks if that’s what you want. It was only 10 minutes to the nearest supermarket and seven minutes to the nearest restaurant with several good restaurants within an easy drive. We enjoyed it thoroughly and hope to return."

"Au calme et idéalement situé pour de belles promenades le long de la Charente ou au parc de Fregeneuil, tout en restant à proximité de la ville. Le gîte est très propre et correspond parfaitement à la description. Rénovation récente et fonctionnelle. Nous y reviendrons certainement pour une prochaine visite dans cette belle région."
