About Bredannaz ...

This village on the western shore of Lake Annecy deserves its name of "Pearl of the Lake".
Adjacent to Duingt and Doussard, the hamlet of Bredannaz extends from the lake to the mountains. The cycle track linking Annecy to Ugine crosses the village and allows to link the villages along the lake very easily by bike. It also allows to make the complete tour of the lake of Annecy.
Numerous activities can be practiced in the vicinity: water activities in summer (Wake Board, water skiing, kayaking, hiking ....); outdoor activities in winter (snowshoeing in Semnoz (20mns), alpine skiing in Les Saisies (40mns) or in the 3 Valleys resorts (about 1h))...
Several shops are located in Duingt, a few hundred meters away from the bike path: the "best baker on the lake shore", a tobacconist's shop, a supermarket open 7/7 (SPAR), very good restaurants.

It's a beautiful appartment with the most amazing view over Annecy's lake! We enjoyed it everyday! The host was super pro active and everything was very clear for the check in etc. Only downside is the area for our stay lots of things where closed. Don't trust the most used search site for this as well. We searched for opening times that should be open but where closed when we came there. This happens to us with groceries, restaurants and canoeing renting places. Annecy city was open so most of our time we spent there.

L'appartement à la décoration contemporaine est très bien situé à la fois près d'Annecy et près des circuits de montagne. Nous avons profité d'une vue exceptionnelle sur le lac. Nous avons apprécié la vue exceptionnelle sur le lac, la décoration de l'appartement et bien sûr le piano sur lequel ma fille a passé quelques heures! (Nous espérons que le voisin du dessous aime la musique).

Abwechslungsreiche Ferien
Die Lage am See ist super, ein kleiner Strand ist zu Fuß in knapp 5min zu erreichen. Doussard mit seinen vielen Wassersportmöglichkeiten ist nur 4km entfernt. Mit dem Auto sind viele tolle Tagesausflüge in der Gegend möglich (Annecy, Col du Semnoz, Grotte du Prérouge, Gorge du Fier, ...) Auch für Kinder gibt es viele tolle Aktivitäten: Wasserski, Paragliding, Kayak,... Die Fahrradwege sind sehr gut vernetzt und ziemlich flach, sodass es auch für jüngere Kinder angenehm ist. Der Hauptort Annecy ist leider ziemlich überlaufen. Hier gibt es zu jeder Tageszeit lange Staus, sogar am Wochenende. Wir haben nach Möglichkeit Ausflüge gemacht, die Annecy weitläufig meiden.

Très bel appartement avec une situation pratique. Épiceries, curiosités et plages (dont certaines où les chiens sont autorisés) à proximité immédiate. La vue depuis le balcon n'a pas de prix. L'appartement est parfaitement équipé, même pour cuisiner soi-même (cuisine super équipée) et pour passer une agréable soirée ensemble.

Perfect location with a breathtaking view
The appartment provides a breathtaking view across the lake, offers a balkonee with barbecue, which we enjoyed several times. In addition though, we found it also very conveniently located: two minutes from the bicycle path all the way to Annecy old town, 10 minutes by bike from Spar and bakery in Duingt (wonderful ride in the mornings to get fresh baguette), 5 minutes from boat rental and a restaurant in walking distance. The bicycle path to Annecy is about 15km and is easily mastered by children as well (ours were 7 and 10 and did not complain once... thanks to also some ice cream stops along the lake). For evenings we recommend to always make reservations at restaurants, and dont forget to bring your masks. They are not needed if you sit outside, but are mandatory inside. They were not mandatory in shops during our visit. All in all we enjoyed our first stay at Lac d‘Annecy a lot and will certainly return.
