"A very nice site with trees and bushes separating the chalets from each other so there's some privacy. It's very quiet at this time of the year so perfect for what we wanted. Very close to the beach; 500 meters. Nice walks nearby. Chalets are well equipped and quite spacious with a deck for sitting. Car park space. "We really liked the sites as it was convenient to get to La Rochelle and Rochefort. Fouras is a great town with lots going on; nice selection of restaurants. The pool was nice but people were not following the rules of no vaping aloud (maybe more/clearer signs or staff mentioning it to visitors would help). The bathroom was a bit smelly at the start but with ventilation that improved (there were no shelves in the shower area so that was not practical). We had plenty of towels and it was great...

"The hotel is lovely. It is right on the beach. It was very clean and the staff were charming. The rooms are quite small tho. Breakfast was delicious- croissant and bread, jams, cereals, yogurt, coffee, orange juice and tea. Just right. The town is very pretty we were lucky enough to be there during a festival so it was very busy on Saturday night. Sunday we discovered a covered food market and then a delightful street market with an array of artisan gifts."

"This hotel was a bit strange as it had no atmosphere. In fact it's a collection of rooms with a very small area for breakfast which we did not have at €17 per person. The room was comfortable and a decent size - very modern but impractical in places e.g. no bedside table. We found a used towel in our room on the rail behind the door. The bar closes at 8 pm and the staff disappear too. That said we slept well but the location is not great."
