"A simple overnight stay to avoid travelling on the 417 at night. Checked in late and left early. Room was exceptionally clean. Simply furnished, but in good shape. Mattress was comfortable, good sheets and towels, large TV. I appreciated the microwave, coffee maker, and mini-fridge. Only things to improve: 1) the chain lock was not secure (the screws were mostly undone) 2) the wi-fi signal was weak and at times unavailable. "Second stay at this location. Rooms are in good condition and the staff are friendly. Bed is comfortable. TV was complicated and the last day cable wasn't working. Otherwise a good stay. "

"Well furnished & stock cottage with amazing views and memories "

"A cottage well equipped to make meals, enjoy sunsets in porch without worry of mosquitos, equipment for folks who enjoy water sports. However, no TV coverage, only WIFI so evenings , if not folks who enjoy doing games, watching DVDs, evenings can be boring. Toilet usage can be a bit troublesome if a large group as takes time for removal of wastes via toilet. Overall, for us, it met our needs. "

"My spouse and I enjoyed our weekend away together , amazing views, lots of wood to burn, getting to the water was a mission, updated outhouse would be a good investment in the future, but eveything was wonderful and the property owners were so sweet and kind "

"I had a wonderful stay over the Christmas holidays. We loved the sauna and hot tub, the ability to use the kitchen to prepare food was also amazing given stores and restaurants being closed. The bed was very comfortable and the ability to add pillows or blankets (so many available) was very welcome. The small additions like candles, multiple drink options, homemade granola (omg to die for) and plenty of coffee options really hit it out of the park for me. The decor was absolutely stunning and I felt like I was in a Christmas wonderland. Cindy and her dad were also so wonderful- Cindy was easy to reach and her dad drove by and chatted for a bit before we headed out for a hike. Already planning my next stay with my friends and will be back hopefully soon! Love love love this place. "

Great place for a family get-together

"Eleven people spent a lovely three days in October: super clean and well-appointed property. Easy to get to and centrally located, although once we landed we didn't leave. Kitchen is well stocked with tools, dishes and cutlery to accommodate 12. Bathrooms all a good size and well-stocked with towels, TP and soaps/shampoos. Beds, sheets, pillows all very clean and comfortable and huge! Lots of room in various common areas for different groups to spread out - outside and in - yet spaces can accommodate everyone together when required. Chalet is exactly as advertised and as presented in photos - beautiful tree views, quiet area, simple but elegant decor and lots of comfortable places to hang out. Matt and Liz are lovely, responsive hosts and were happy to answer all our questions. We'd love to return!"
