"Great location! We had a week planned in Cayo with some of our family staying at the San Ignacio Hotel. This house was conveniently located right across the street! Easy to get to downtown and the highway. Juan, the caretaker, was quick to answer questions and help us with anything we needed. Only complaint was upon arrival there was a mix up of which unit we were in. There are 3 separate units on the property. We rented the larger house but we were initially taken to a smaller apartment. "Areli did a wonderful job welcoming us and had the house clean. House has all the amenities you could want. Everything worked well. The property had mango trees and a barbecue area along the river. Marlon Who takes care of the property and grounds is very likable and did a wonderful job. Thank you, everyone!!"

"We had a wonderful stay at the Mahogany Hall. They were so friendly and accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious. They made sure that we were able to eat before our tours in the morning and even prepared our dinner a little early on the day of our arrival because we had not eaten. Cant say enough, it was so wonderful."

"We had a wonderful time in San Ignacio. The check in was simple and the house was clean. We booked our excursions through the owners and received a discount. Onil was our tour guide for all the excursions we did and he was incredibly knowledgeable and fun. The pool was nice to lounge in after a full day of fun in the sun. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Pine Tree Villa. The space was clean, comfortable and convenient. The home is a 30 minute walk from central San Ignacio, so the neighborhood is quiet but it's still easy to stop by town."

"The place was big, beautiful tile and wood work. No hot water, hard to find, no one to meet us, had to hunt down someone to open it. Stove did not work. Not enough blankets. Beds were uncomfortable. Neighbors were noisy until 2 p.m. Mortorcyles came by at 4:00 a.m. making a lot of noise. Would not stay there again."

"Jim was extremely responsive leading up to the trip and Walter and Lucy were perfect hosts once we arrived! Definitely coordinate to have Lucy cook your meals while there, no doubt! And use Robert to coordinate any trips. They have you covered no matter how you want to spend your time there."

"The property was beautiful, clean and well kept. The view is amazing and the property owner is extremely helpful and communicative. We used the owners cook and recommended tour guide as well and both could not have been better. We would definitely stay again."

"We looked forward to sitting on the deck each morning overlooking the Mopan River with a cup of coffee and listening to the jungle wildlife as the sun came up. Breakfast was always delicious with fresh, local ingredients prepared by an amazing chef. The location of this property is perfect for accessing all of the things to do and see near San Ignacio!"

"Loved the privacy - close to town but not in town. You can hear and see wildlife all around the cabin. Adam & Rebecca are accommodating, responsive, and helpful. The cabin itself is lovely - I appreciated the screened in porch, full kitchen, AC, and ceiling fan. The shower has good hot water and water pressure too (look, everyone has their own priorities.) Would definitely recommend to anyone who doesn't want the noise of being in town/wants to enjoy the jungle. Would generally recommend...

"Cohune Palms is just what we were hoping for. The property is really lovingly maintained. The staff are really warm and accommodating- Ms. Nellie's cooking was just perfect after long days of tours! The cabins are not posh but not supposed to be- and it was HOT in there, we ended up asking for additional fans in the evening- but they were clean, and had everything we needed. "Our stay at Villa Cayo exceeded expectations. We stayed in one of their separate guesthouses. Sitting on the comfy Adirondack chairs watching toucans eating fruit from the tree in front of our guesthouse was magical. The property faces west so watching the sunsets with a glass of wine in the evenings was great. The guesthouse was very comfortable and impeccably cleaned. "The property is amazing. Only received low score based on accuracy of listing. My cabin was not one that was pictured, however I did still enjoy the cabin and it was cool and comfortable. The pool was…. Not as clear as the pictures. The food from Jack at the bar was 10/10 phenomenal. I recommend the buffet and full English breakfast. The road coming up the hill is a little rough, but manageable. I enjoyed my stay. It was quiet and comfy. Very relaxing."

"Great location, very helpful staff, basic room but everything you need. Endless coffee/tea/bananas available in reception. Staff went above and beyond helping with itinerary changes due to tropical storm. Lots of restaurants, bars, supermarkets close by. Highly recommend this hotel."

"My brother and I had an excellent stay at Falling Leaves lodge. The room was big, spacious and comfortable. Ms. Paula and the entire staff were superb. The entire staff made us feel welcome and were available for any assistance, if needed. The view of the city from the restaurant was amazing. "
