Positives are: Bed was comfortable = 1 star Hosts were friendly and helpful (allowing me to park my motorcycle in the courtyard) = 1 star Breakfast was good = 1 star Negatives are: Shower is neither relaxing or pleasant. "Beautiful two bedroom apartment in an old house with private entrance and outdoor dining patio. Perfect for a couple or small family as there is only one bathroom. Gorgeous gardens and flowers with private gated parking. Very close drive to wineries or tasting rooms as well as area Chateaus and villages. No food onsite but Grocery store within 3 kilometers for use in the full kitchen. Bottle of local wine was a nice Welcome gift. Owners/managers couldn’t be nicer. Great base for Chinon area...

"Absolutely couldn't wish for a better place to relax and recharge our 'parent' batteries. Beautiful place with a great and friendly service. Completely tranquil and romantic. Really enjoyed our stroll throught the vineyards and around the estate with while playing a fun game of quiz. Thoroughly recommend this place, in parcular to couples. "
