***NEW!!!*** In the hills of Dorset, you will find our charming, peaceful home, "Snowbird", tucked away on Owl's Head Mountain. Enjoy wildlife grazing in our 2+ acre private meadow while taking in views on our spacious deck. Try our Adirondack chairs as you gather around the firepit making S'mores and memories. In our warm monts, relax, grab a book and and enjoy the Vermont fresh air sunshine as you lounge on our quite spacious deck. In the winter, bring your cross-country skis and head right out our backdoor to your own private winter wonderland. Or unwind in our new, outdoor hot tub with a glass of wine after a long day on the slopes. Is hiking your thing? Grab your hiking books, head right out our front door and hike up Owl's Head. Inside our home, boasts much from vaulted ceilings, beautiful wood floors, a gym, ping pong, a finished basement and much more. Nearby, there is plenty to do! Two major ski mountains are located close by-Bromley Mountain and Stratton Mountain. Both are family friendly and offer summer adventure entertainment too (We highly recommend the Alpine Slide on Bromley Mountain in the summer). Less than a mile away is the magnificent Dorset Marble Quarry- the perfect swimming hole surrounded by beautiful marble. Many restaurants from casual to fine dining are just minutes away. The Dorset Playhouse is always a hit and perfect date night and is right around the corner. Rainy day? We have outlet shops less than 10 minutes away! Stores like J Crew, Theory, Vineyard Vines, Talbots, The Gap to name a few! Our property is 3 miles away from the horse show that comes to our town of Dorset every summer- The Vermont Summer Festival! Heard of the Vermont Country Store? Take a 20-minute fall foliage drive to shop the store (they have penny candy!) Please visit and tour Hildene- the Lincoln Family home, only 10 minutes away which boasts beautiful, spectacular gardens and grounds, a goat petting farm, and the 1903 restored Pullman car, "Sunbeam". And don't leave without having a scoop of Ben and Jerry's-there is one right here in downtown Manchester during late Spring/Summer! Annual Golf Trip
The perfect home-base for our Vermont Golf trip but would also be perfect for a family getaway. 5-10 minutes from prominent Manchester staples. The house was warm and inviting from the moment you step in. Amenities were key between the ping pong table for late night friendly tournaments to winding down in the hot tub after multiple rounds of golf. A cool feature was the backyard driving range. Dog friendly, new utilities, big kitchen, cozy living room, finished basement. I’ll be saving this property and returning with the family next time for sure.

Lovely house and gracious host!
The property is a lovely Vermont house with huge yard and well situated to all the local attractions. It was very well appointed with absolutely everything we needed for our week stay. Amy the host is extremely thoughtful, leaving excellent instructions and notes on house management, and eager to help where needed to ensure our stay was as pleasant as possible. Even after we left, only to realize that we forgot clothes in a closet, Amy immediately contacted us and help us find a solution to get our things back. We loved our stay and highly recommend!

Snowbird Stay
The Snowbird was a perfect Vermont get-away! Amy is an amazing host; extremely responsive and helpful w/ needs and recommendations. We loved the location! It was private but close enough to everything; stores, restaurants and shops. Although it was just my husband, myself and our dog that stayed, this house would be perfect for families or two couples because the house is nicely broken up for privacy. We loved our stay and can't wait to get back to Dorset. Thank you Amy for the lovely accommodations!
