"The place is exactly what I was looking for during our vacation. I wanted to go somewhere quiet and not very busy. I was looking for a place that was not so touristy and this was it. All the staff were super nice to us visitors. It will take some planning to get to the hotel. But once you figure it out and get there, you will find the peace and tranquillity you’re searching. "I chose this ryokan since it was the only reasonably priced one in the Nara area. It has a beautiful garden just outside our room and the room itself was comfortable and large. The only downside to the place was the strong smell in the room and the cockroach that I had to kill as it crawled across the room."
