"This is clearly a 5-star property both in a lovely removed, private setting yet mere steps from the old town. The cottage is lovingly crafted and very up to date. I was sorry not to have a "welcome notebook" with a history of the property as that would have been entirely fascinating. And although we figured everything out, a "user's guide" attached to that notebook would have been helpful. It is a spectacular property and was a joy to experience. "

"Pool was amazing, the house had everything you could need, kitchen utilities, games, baby cot and high chair, etc. Communication from owners was good. Wonderful location, could walk into Sarlat town easily. We would highly recommend!"

"Helpful host who adjoins the property so any issues easily resolved as they are on hand. Was very hot when we stayed and although fans provided it made sleeping in the mezzanine very warm. The pool was a welcome relief and kept spotlessly clean by the host who shut it down each evening and cleaned each day. Lovely welcome ‘basket!’ of wine, bread, pizza etc. great location to visit Saint Emilion, Bergerac etc and lots of fabulous markers. Would stay again"

"Our extended family of ten spent an all too brief week at Karen and Dan’s sublime 16th century manse. The stone walls kept it cool inside - the kitchen was well equipped for family meals- the location is perfect for all you’ll want to do in this glorious region. The beds were extremely comfortable. It was very quiet and impeccably clean. And it’s amazing for each bedroom to be supplied with its own bathroom. The owners’ proximity for advice and assistance was invaluable. Everywhere you looked...
