Refurbished house sleeps up to 11 people located in a rural equestrian centre

Lovely modern newly refurbished house, positioned in the middle of a peaceful Dorset equestrian centre, with 2 motwin bedrooms, 3 kingsize bedrooms and 1 single bedroom, we also have full disabled shower and access in this house, pick and choose your combination of rooms for your stay with us, the whole house is yours which ever combination of bedrooms you choose. The house holds up to 11 guests, however this is a private house that is solely yours during your stay. We simply lock off the bedrooms you don't need during your stay.

There is a large double bedroom on the ground floor and a shower room right next door, both these are wheelchair friendly, and on level ground all the way from the front door.

All other bedrooms are on the first floor.

Welcome cooked family meals are available to pre-order, these are freshly prepared by our pub chefs so why not have a Cottage Pie or Thai Vegetable Curry or Lasagne or Fish Pie waiting for you when you arrive to just heat up, with a chilled glass of wine or two already waiting in the fridge. You could order a meal for every night so no hassle finding the local shop or cooking!!

Meals are made in a traditional family oven dish, and serve 6 standard portions, they will be left in the fridge for your arrival and cost £25 each, wine can be pre-ordered to, with Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot white wine, Merlot and Shiraz in red, these are £12 a bottle, and must be pre-ordered by email.

Free wifi, satellite TV, comfy lounge and large dining area. Bring your horse or horses with you as stable accommodation is available for hire if needed.
Dogs allowed for a small extra charge.
Just enjoy the peace and quite lost in the Dorset countryside.

Ideal property for our 3 generational family. Access for disabled member of our family was good. Plenty of places to keep us busy. Beaches, monkey world and Bovington camp were a hit. We would recommend this property. A dust pan and brush would be useful!!

The property is lovely and in peaceful surroundings. It is lovely to hear the horses. The property was clean and had all essentials for a nice family holiday. The only negatives for us was - lack of drawers and storage in the bedrooms. - (this one isn't the fault of the owners as the bins are only emptied fortnightly, but is a problem, especially in the heat) the wheelie bin was full when we arrived, and also full to overflowing when we left, so the next people will have the same problem as us.

Perfect location
A fantastic property in rural Dorset. In peak season we were pleased to be able to retreat to the quiet of the Saddlery whilst also being near enough to dip in and out of Weymouth and Dorchester which are both near by. The property was large enough for two families to share without feeling on top of each other. The whole place was immaculate but with a cottage feel. My kids loved seeing the horses and chickens each day as well as buying and eating their eggs. We stumbled across a sunflower maze at Maiden farm where we enjoyed the maze and took some beautiful photos of the family. If you don't like being in the thick of the action this is a perfect location. Huge thanks to Stacey for clear instructions, ample amenities and great communication.

All very good except would be better with book of how to us and find things
Overall quite clean kitchen cupboards were not cleaned from last used as still rice everywhere everywhere else good beds and rooms the shower room downstairs did not have hot water to sink which wasn't so good we had a lovely time though and would come again.

The saddlery Dorchester
The property is outstanding very comfortable and reasonably well equipped. Our biggest issue was the property was extremely cold when we arrived, I was able to reach the property owner and he supplied oil filled radiators to warm up the property. The Saddlery is disabled friendly with a wet room with plenty of rails, but missing a shower chair which would have been very useful . The sofas are very comfortable but difficult for a disabled person as they are quite low. The location is very nice, quiet and relaxing with very friendly staff.

We loved our stay!
We were in Dorset visiting family, and picked the Sadlery due to location close to Dorchester and Weymouth. The house was great. Comfortable, clean and spacious. Had everything we needed. We had the whole family over for dinner one night and was able to sit 10-12 of us at the table comfortably. It was really lovely to stay in the countryside but only be a very short drive in to town or supermarket. I really enjoyed my stay here and will be booking again next time we visit Dorset.

Great place but a car is required.
We loved this home and truly appreciate the owners permitting us to have this experience. We had a car so it was fairly easy to get the things we needed, but nothing is truly within walking distance. We had hoped to meet the horses but that did not work out. We left a couple of voice messages but did not get a response. This home would be great for large families and friends. The owner was extremely responsive via Vrbo message client. We had a minor issue with the upper oven and they immediately sent someone to assist. We would stay here again! One suggestion would be to have printed manuals in the guest book regarding the appliances.

Quiet getaway - so comfortable...
Great accommodation with everything we needed to have a quiet getaway and to see the sites around Dorset. Easy to find and located near lots of sites. House is well furnished with soft beds, a large comfy couch and all the things you could need for your time away. Great value and so much nicer than staying in a hotel- I would 100% recommend to anyone!
