"First and foremost we had a fabulous family holiday in Beekbergen and the property is in a lovely setting. There were,however, some annoying issues with the property and we found the property description not to be wholly accurate. 1. There were no towels of any kind provided despite the property description saying they were - we managed to get some bath towels from the site office but had to buy hand towels / tea towels. 2. The bathrooms had been updated (and are very nice) but there was no...

"Het huis is op zichzelf mooi, ruim en met veel servies en keukenspullen maar op een aantal punten niet goed onderhouden. Een beneden slaapkamerraam heeft geen gordijnen en het buiten rolgordijn is stuk (er staat een buitenlamp die brandt voor dat raam), de radiatoren in de woonkamer werken niet goed, de grote oven van het fornuis is stuk (er is wel een kleine over maar met een grote groep niet erg handig) en zo zijn er meer kleine dingen. "Prinzipiell war der Aufenthalt sehr gut. Leider war das Häusschen schon etwas abgewohnt. Viele kleine Mängel wie Spülmaschine reinigt nicht richtig, Fugen in der Dusche leer, Fließen dadurch locker, verdunklung Rollos defekt, Geschirr nicht sauber. Leider auch nur ein Schlüssel für das Objekt. Für eine Gruppe etwas wenig. Es fehlen Hacken in den Badezimmern sowie um etwas aufzuhängen. Mitten in der Natur gelegen. Wundervoll am Waldrand. Mit Blick in den Wald lässt es sich schön entspannen."

"The property was a small wooden house and had a small space around it. The children enjoyed climbing up to their bedrooms. There were plenty of amenities and places to visit nearby."

"We are always disappointed when there are no rooms available in this hotel: it is our favourite location when we stay in Apeldoorn. Even when you stay for one night only without using additional services, the staff is super friendly and supportive. "

"Good clean hotel right next to the train station but don't let put you off the train station is one of the best in Netherlands Which is always clean and tidy just like the Mercure.Breakfast is very Good with hot bacon and eggs fruits and very good pastry,s it's in a very good location for the centre which can be walked in 5<>10 min The main bus stop is next to the train station making for easy access to the surrounding towns like Beek and Berg en Dal and Buinigen which are all worth a visit.Nice Hotel Friendly Staff .. Great Stuff "

Isolated but enjoyable hotel

"Very nice hotel. Looks a little dated on the outside, but very nice inside, with many renovations completed. The bed was small however comfortable. Best part was the heating which worked very well, helping me recover from being under the weather for a few days. Enjoyed a great dinner at their restaurant, very nice atmosphere. And much praise to the front desk staff who were so helpful - thank you. Easy to reach by bus number 8 from Nijmegen central station. Overall, very enjoyable."

"I stayed in the old hotel many years ago and it was fine, the new building is fantastic, very clean and well laid out. The restaurant did a good selection and quality of food at a reasonable price. The breakfast was very good. Comfortable beds but ideally mattress toppers that don't move would be better. The rooms we had were well equipped with everything we needed and more, such as hair dryer, coffee machine and small chiller fridge. Overall as a family we were very happy with the stay and would return. Amsterdam and the places around it we wanted to visit were around an hour's drive on main roads so perfectly located for us. "
