"Nice, quiet and not overwhelming, we let the owners know the day after checkin that the shower head in our room was leaking terribly, and they came back the very next morning (on christmas eve no less!) with a brand new replacement shower head. "The room was nicely decorated and very clean. Bathroom facilities were good. Car parking was good. I was disappointed that the room did not have a toaster. There was no cloth for washing dishes but a tea towel was provided. Microwave provided but no cutlery was there if you did heat meals in it. Minor points but something to think about. "We arrived late afternoon and were shown around the cottage. Our dogs immediately explored all the wonderful smells in the garden which was fully fenced and safe for them. Everything in the cottage was perfect! The bed was comfortable, lovely hot shower, comfortable lounge and sparkling clean. Our breakfast was fully catered with cereal and bread, milk, yogurt etc. We were very impressed. The owners were available next door if we needed to call on them for anything. Highly recommend."
