"The cottage was ok, very small and rather outdated, but it did the job for a quick overnight stay during our Bavaria and Austria trip, would not recommend for longer stay. HOWEVER, not only are there additional guest and verbo service fees on top of the nightly charge, which is typical, but there's 70 eur cleaning fee in cash AND 10 eur per person towel and bed linen fee in cash! Each person has to bring their own bed linen and towels. And you'll receive an email with mattress and bedding...

"Der erste Eindruck des Hauses war super. Nach genauerem hinsehen verging die gute Laune. Spülmaschine war noch voll. Gläser im Schrank kaputt. Coctailmaker klebrig. Pfanne total zerkratzt und Flusen, Krümel etc. auf dem Fußboden. Das versprochene Starterset mit Putzlappen, Geschirrtuch ,Spüli und Tab fehlte auch. Spinnweben im Holzgebälk unter der Decke. Nadem wir dann zur Rezeption gingen um Abhilfe zu schaffen, bekamen wir Gläser, Pfanne etc. gebracht und konnten ein Starterset sofort...

The cost of linens and towels and cleaning fee should be built in to the final price but in the fine print it says you must pay in cash this extra amount. We had most of the cash needed to pay the 110E extra but we were short 3E. We asked if that would be enough but she said no. We found an ATM the next...

"Wir haben 2 wunderschöne Wochen in Heidi`s Häuschen in Bad Mitterndorf verbracht. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Frisch renovierte Bäder und eine komplette Ausstattung im Haus und Garten tragen dazu bei, dass man sich sofort zuhause fühlt. Das Freizeitangebot in Bad Mitterndorf und Umgebung ist auch im Sommer sehr vielfältig. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder!"

Die Lage ist traumhaft, wenn man Ruhe sucht. Die Unterkunft ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht und es ist tip top gepflegt. "Das Ferienhaus ist sehr zu empfehlen ! Es hat alles was man für einen Urlaub braucht. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und man hat mit 10 Personen ausreichend Platz. Auch die Lage ist top. Von dort aus kann man sämtliche Ausflüge starten. Zu Fuß ist das Dorf in ca. 5 Minuten zu erreichen und man kann bei der sehr netten Vermieterin eine Kanne frische Milch Zapfen. "Das Landhaus liegt sehr abgeschieden. Nachts ist es bei Wolken absolut dunkel und ruhig. Man hört nur die Steyr rauschen oder den Wind in den Bäumen. In etwas Abstand am Haus vorbei geht ein Wanderweg die Steyer entlang, der schöne Ausblicke auf das klare Bergwasser bietet. Da das Landhaus ganz unten im Flußtal liegt, ist es sehr windgeschützt.
